Only one iPhone 4 per bumper. You must use your own phone to claim. They will know your phone serial and model. So you can't cheat your way using a 3GS So for you, I guess the only way is ask your friend to ship to you via post when the casing reaches his place

When you get the phone, you can download the app by yourself. But I think you need to use a SG based acc to download the app. Once you select your case, you will get a confirmation like the way you bought the iphone or anything else. So you just have to wait and they will ship to your place in SG. Then your friend can either post it to you or you can go down to SG or even him coming to you which is up to preference.

@13579: I think the shipping date is getting earlier and earlier. My email wrote 23rd. Yours is 20th. But the delivery date for yours is 24th and mine is 25th.

Probably the only thing you can try is to cancel the order and try with another card
If that doesn't work, I guess you have to find someone's help or wait for our malaysian telco

Just chill and wait patiently. Nothing will go wrong. Have a little trust on yourself.

How? Just click the buy button. Then key in all the info like normal. Same shipping add and billing. Check everything ok. Click checkout
Then wait for the Order Acknowledgment. Wait until the shipping date. Date on the Acknowledgement letter or maybe earlier.
Followed by a Shipping Notification followed by an invoice by Apple SG where they charge your CC and reached singapore shores
This means you can wait patiently for the DHL man to come to your house and just sign the paperwork
Rip the box out and enjoy your phone.

Now we are only at Order Acknowledgment. They will send 3 emails in total.

Singapore apple reseller like epi and etc does NOT carry iPhone 4. iPhone 4 is only available on the online store. For now, those reseller only sell iPhone 3Gs 8GB without contract as well as unlock units like the online store. Those phone that are being sold from the resellers come from Singtel. So it is up to singtel if they want to sell at those resellers.

Don't ask me why singtel manage to sell IPhone 3GS(unlocked) at those reseller but not at their own singtel shop. that one you have to ask singtel

Hong Kong is the cheapest followed by Singapore. The photo above is actually from the HK online store.
The status for SG? Still unknown. Maybe something can appear this monday? who knows.
For now, nothing has changed for singapore's shipment.

Chill bro, they also charged my account already and the status is still unchanged. Maybe they will change the status later today. A few singaporeans also got charged this morning around 3am.

Mine is also the same as yours. Someone reported from SG forums that their order is prepared for shipment but the CSO have not updated the website. So just chill and your phone will come

If yours is prepared for shipping. Which means from china. Rough estimation for the phone to reach singapore shores is next week. Sometimes it can be delayed and it will come on the date that apple provided.

To the come of it, many have not gotten "prepared for shipment". Don't put the credit card and etc into context yet . Many whose order is going to be shipped on the later date like 27 or early september got their status changed where as a number of users who ordered on a earlier date, 31st July or 4th Aug have not gotten their status changed. Prepared to shipment means they will lock down your shipment and you can't change your CC details or address/cancel your order.

Probably those who got the prepared for shipment will only get their "shipped" according to the date apple gave in the email. Those who ordered and not gotten "prepared for shipment", yours will probably come as your shipping date comes nearer. Probably 1-2 days before the date. In simple terms, apple will stick to the shipping date they provide us . For now, just chill and drink a cup of coffee.

This is getting funnier and funnier by the day. When the "prepared for shipment" notification. Everyone "kan chiong" and check their status. Suddenly, today the notification was reverted back. Apple is indeed playing with us and we are back to square one

Apple ask because they want to verify you are the person who ordered it and not a fraud. It happened to me when I order via Malaysia store. But sometimes they check for CC outside SG as well. Then they can reject your order unless you have a valid reason.

If you order, your order is bound to go through. Unless you are unlucky, then you will be asked for documents.
16GB's iPhone 4 is already in SG and is in the hands of the delivery man. The iPhone arrived 6 days earlier
32GB? Still no sign of it. Guess it is time to continue waiting.

My 32GB status changed few days back and it still remain the same until now.

There is no news on premium resellers selling the iPhone 4 at the moment. I will post news and update the front page if anything comes up.
For the time being, SG iPhone 4 comes from apple online store or singapore Telco.

You can ask anyone from your address(ie: Mum,Dad,Son,Daughter and etc) to sign your parcel for you.

Yesterday my friend was not home when the send the phone. So I called them up and told them to send around 3 today. Got my phone already They really kept their word. So if any of you missed the first delivery, call them up and tell them the time you want for tomorrows delivery time. They will make 2 trips to your house . If both time you are not home, then the parcel will be put on hold and you have to call them up and rearrange another time. Hope this helps for those who live asked their friends to sign the parcel from the DHL man.
