Can the buyer use a different
Persons credit card details to make payment?

Nope...the only way to buy an iPhone 4 without contract is through apple store at SGD888 otherwise you gotta subcribe plan with the telco in SG.

1-3biz days is 3gs not i4. i4 will only launch on fri so no one knows the delivery time.... if u look at ipad it's 7-10days.

anyway, got at least 2ppl reported that they use local malaysia citibank credit card to online purchase iphone4 in UK (ship to UK address) without any problem so whoever has citibank credit card maybe in luck and can try to purchase sg iphone4 (ship to sg address) then report bck here

Nice to meet you.. So, this prove that Apple will accept any Credit card world wide & ship locally.. er.. Once i got my iphone4.. I will walk to Maxis for Micro SIM.. But, it holds the advantages by modifying the SIM to Micro Sim too. In such we can still "restore" to normal sim and use it in others phone..

Sorry if this question is asked before.. but is Singapore Iphone4 unlocked so I can use Maxis or other country sim card?

Will I be taxed when coming back to Malaysia if I go Singapore and buy??

well, for this moment, not sure whether all credit cards are reported to be working fine with apple online....only citibank has the best chance to hit jackpot coz two of those ppl also using citibank

yup, its good tat we cut the sim ourself then next time we can use the micro sim to normal sim adapter if we use other phone (i doubt that iphone users will switch to phone other than iphone coz me myself reluctant to switch to other phone since i got my iphone 2 in mid 2007 )

I'm not sure whether maxis will give bck our normal sim card or not after we ask maxis to change to micro sim. anyone change to micro sim through maxis and care to share here?

Added on July 28, 2010, 8:47 pmaiyo bro....read earlier post carefully lehh .....up until this moment, iphone4 still sells as OFFICIALLY UNLOCK set unless on friday M1, Starhub, Singtel, apple online store, etc etc announce other wise (which is unlikely coz sg got law forbids carrier monopoly any phone)

Search for keyword "unlocked". The answer to this question had been answered since last 2 generations already, I can't believe they still get asked.
