QUOTE(D3vilsim @ Aug 25 2010, 02:38 PM) Hmm.. i guess can't work on 2 homeplug 1 aptv 1 normal internet. think the only solutions for me is leave everything in living hall. Use homeplug for IPTV & wifi for internet access. Router in living hall laptop in bed room hope wont' affect much on the internet speed. thanks all for answering & if have better solution pls advise yah... =) I think you can use 2 pairs of homeplug. There is instruction on how to change the Network ID of the homeplug in the manual. So, 1 pair you retain the default ID, the other pair you change the ID. I never try myself but theoritically it should work.

QUOTE(richard912 @ Aug 25 2010, 04:16 PM) The Aztech homeplug CD has a utility which you can use to change the Network Group name. Just make sure the IPTV pair are named differently from the rest. Really? My Aztech Homeplug Utilities only have 2 pages; 1st page show the MAC and 2nd page let you update firmware. I can't seem to find the option to change the network ID. I only read from manual you can change network ID by pressing the Quick Setup button for certain seconds.

QUOTE(richard912 @ Aug 25 2010, 05:02 PM) Which model of homeplug are you using? I'm on combination of HL109EP and HL109E. In any case, you can try to download the utility from their website hereOK, thanks. I am using the HL280E, the utility software came with CD was old version which doesn't allow the network ID change. Now the latest one allows that function.

QUOTE(richard912 @ Aug 26 2010, 03:56 PM) My apartment is on single phase but I've heard before that it still works on 3 phase. You are right, it works for my 3-phase line. If you read their FAQ in the website, it doesn't matter even if the power points are at different phase. Added on August 27, 2010, 9:46 amQUOTE(rayap @ Aug 26 2010, 10:04 PM) Is Caller ID really working? In my case initially was showing Private Number, after I called to activate CLIP it started showing "Out of Area". Now I am told they have a technical glitch that will only be resolved till end Setpember 10. Same here, they said they have system problem now. QUOTE(Scirwode @ Aug 27 2010, 04:18 PM) Is anyone having problems with their Hypp TV? As mine hasn't been working since yesterday. All it shows is a little blue icon with a picture of a satellite at the bottom right corner. There was an update previously but after updating it becomes unusable. Scirwode Mine was ok last night but this morning it is gone. It says Service Temporarily Out.

QUOTE(auronthas @ Sep 2 2010, 04:28 PM) Mine is Powerline Activity is not on, power and ethernet led is on. If I do not plug LAN cable, there is only one power led on. I did not paired side by side. Do I need to have LAN cable connected to modem/STB for pairing? Thanks for replying I think you may have accidentally changed the network name and they are not matched now. Try using the utility software to set both to the same network name, or just to reset both back to factory default.

QUOTE(billytong @ Sep 5 2010, 09:41 PM) Well I am just stating that the RB750 would be another alternative of RB250GS (which I think should work as RB750G). Unifi is @ 20mbps @ best for now. Even the fiber line wont be reaching 100+mbps anytime soon knowing TM is slow in intro new package. RB750 is price around RB250GS while the RB750G is about 60-70% higher, so it would make sense to those who need alternative with tight budget. Unless you are transferring huge amount of files between PCs I do not see gigabit LAN is needed. The only draw back now is the lacking of Wifi feature to completely replace 615. Is the configuration similar to that of RB250GS? Where did you get your RM750? I have searched around Low Yat, Sg Wang and Imbi, no one heard about Mikrotik even

QUOTE(stimix @ Sep 7 2010, 09:47 AM) Abit of noob question here about IPTV. The 100 free points given to us monthly. Is this 100 points forever free every month? And if we used up the 100 point, how to top up? Initial plan was free points end at Aug 31, and VIP5/10 can only watch certain free channels (Basic Package) while VIP20 can watch full channels. All VIP packages will have to pay for VOD. However, now is already Sep and I still get 100 points and full viewing of channels. Personally, I don't think with current programmes, anyone will pay to the IPTV, that's why they extend the free viewing period. I notice that the announcement on free view till Aug 31 also has been removed. So, just enjoy when you can

I don't mind to pay a bit more for HP Procurve 1700-8, however, I searched high and low at Lowyat and Imbi and no one carries it.
