G5 is definitely a good buy for its price, its is better than X8 IMO.
its a good starters for those who want to get a taste of Android.

however if you want to get the full Android experience,
it's better to get one of the high end Android phones.

I agree with you on your hesitation to pay too much for a phone. Besides, I am not very delicate with electronics! sad.gif

I was wondering if anyone here ever had the chance to try out this phone?
Prodigy - Quadband Android Smartphone w/ Capacitive Touchscreen

For RM670++ including shipping, it seems to be packed with features. The only thing it does not seem to have is an accleratometer.

Seriously considering buying one of this

Galaxy 5 is good if you r starting but screen res might get you fed up sooner. As for me, i limit myself to 1.3k for starters to get a new ori android after these years with nokias n sony's.. after gaining confidence, might go for other popular models. What i hv sacrificed are camera n video resolution in order to learn more bout androids.. loving evry moment online though not on any data plan.. btw, my main concern is to get at least 3.5" screen and that's what i got last week..

RRP is RM699. Most shop sells RM650. Some sell less than that.
