If you don't have to get a HTC, go for a Samsung Galaxy Ace(RM900) or Acer Liquid Metal(RM1200) Acer liquid metal wins in specs and build quality with a higher reso screen and an aluminium back, bu SGAce is value for money.

Yep. has a higher reso screen 800x480 and reviews says it doesn't really seem like a tft screen because its very clear and crisp. It has a better GPU with an aluminium back with better build quality.

By mid Q2 i guess. AP sets would be priced around 2.8k when launched, and then x10 syndrome kicks in and it'll come to around 2.3k in 1-2 months.

Samsung Galaxy S II if you need it now. IINM iP5 will reach our shore by September if not earlier. Try SGS2 first. If you like it, you can stick to Android too.

keypad? I think you mean a QWERTY keyboard. Period it should be the x10mini pro. But it sucks. IMHO a Desire Z is good.

Hmm. SGS with lagfix. iP4 for simplicity if you don't like customization or more opportunities for individualization.

Since Incredible S reached here pretty fast, i say before May we'll get the Desire S. IMO Incredible S is good but lacking in battery life too.
