hi,i wanted to know more about LG optimus one

1. Brand. (HTC/Samsug/LG/Motorola/Others?)
No preference really, just want a phone that is durable, lightweight and has decent screen size. was thinking about HTC though, any bad reviews about that brand?

2. Budget. (1.5k-2k)
around 1.5k - 1.7k. i refuse to buy a phone which is more than 1.7k

3. Specs. (Processor / RAM / OS Version / screen size)
preferably scoring high on specs. dont care much about looks. screen size preferably slightly bigger than iphone

4. What you need in the phone (Sense UI ? Touch Witz ? Battery life? Form factor?)
ease of use UI, email, GPS, internet capabilities, multi tasking, fast and smooth OS. need a decent camera that can take good pics at low light and dark conditions though.

don't want laggy phone and able to play angry birds. the most important is the touchscreen must be smooth.

-able to read PDF documents
-able to read and edit microsoft word/powerpoint documents
- watch youtube videos

I'm thinking samsung galaxy ace, htc aria (ap) or sony ericson x10 (ap)
I have tried SE touchscreen phone x8 it is not as smooth as htc, samsung or iphone. i like the function of x10 but the touchscreen...and the SE android phone seems like not so good compare with the other brands

Which should i choose? Which one is worth to buy?

ace is good for its price, and i dont think anyone should get x10 unless you really urge for the camera.

Hey, was wondering what you all think about samsung galaxy s SL? Do you guys think it worth the price tag?

Get the Meizu M9, Galaxy Ace or Defy

Buy the old one is better if front camera is no needed?

LG OPTIMUS 1 and SAMSUNG ACE

looking for a decent and reasonable phone and worth every penny i pay.

camera is not a problem, screen would be better if it can fit on my palms as well as minimum lags (I HATE THIS A LOT when things get slow especially messaging)

most likely i will do these on my phone,

1) call and messaging
2) mbe skype or msn to chat
3) a well organized organizer is preferred to schedule my agenda
4) viewing both pdf and words files
5) gaming (so as long it supports angry birds)
6) a little of websurfing
7) videos (MP4 with VGA resolution) and plenty of music
8) eye catching user interface

so which one is better... =] thank you in advance

but i heard that ace's cpu is actually the overclock version of optimus one's cpu?

is that true?

if yes, then when rooted, can i overclock the O1 to that speed and enjoy the processing speed?

is that Samsung Galaxy S still worth to get ? since SGS2 is there. because of i dont want spend 2k+ on a phone.

I wanna buy android phone...im thinking of getting either SGS2 or LG Optimus 2X or LG Optimus Black or SE Xperia Play.....

I knw all of these phone havent arrive yet at Malaysia bt jz wanna do surveys on these phones

My choice would be performance, graphics and smoothness of interface...which one should I get? 

Android 2.2 and 2.3 is far better than 2.1? I thought more or less is the same since just a 0.1 difference. BTW, can I flash to any newer OS freely like we install newer Windows on computer? 
Hard to believe the 1GHz will inferior to lower speed processor. BTW, is the Liquid Metal processor power enough to play RMVB directly using software like Rockplayer?
