Previously they had 1 speed bump along that stretch too..
Why would they put a speed bump when there's an upcoming traffic light at the junction ?
*
Now there's 2 bump. doh.gif
I was thought yesterday jam is because of the new traffic light has started. But when I reach the new bump, I really wtf.
If the traffic light really start to function, that road can't use liow.
Anymore shortcut?? sad.gif

The person constructing the speed bump should have done that over the weekend - Sunday when there are less traffic.

Now there are 2 speed bump just very close to each other....

Actually Not really closer to PJ. If the existing road to PJ oldtown via old puchong road without those traffic lights & jam, The distance from the Kinrara junction to PJ oldtown junction is actually nearer i.e 4.9km compare to the Kinrara-Sri manja>Sentosa>pJ oltown at 5.5km...sumore not forgetting the possible jam at Sentosa/OKR junction

I'm having a hard time liking Puchong. All I find is a wasteland of modern shopoffices, terraced houses, highways and the occasional shopping mall.

Where on earth is the original Puchong town/village anyways?

Aiya, Stimix wrong liao. This is the shortest route to Old Town, you make U-turn on the NPE, no need go Sri Sentosa wan:

Poot poot even better. Near the Shell station at the far end of Jalan PJS 1/25 can go straight across to End of the World using the overhead bridge crossing the NPE and the railroad. You're on Jalan Pasar Old Town liao.

In addition to bt14 area where there is New village existed since Zaman Darurat, there are more older settlement in Puchong but some of it no longer exist or in the midst of getting eradicated for eg:

6th mile - just before the bridge to Kinrara criss-crossing KEsas highway. Currently that wooden houses are in the midst of eradication.

11th miles - The current location of the Furniture mall & new shoplot in between IOI Mall & Tesco. - Landslides happened twice there and destroyed the whole kampung - Used to be a crocodile farm and one of the crocodile escaped and dwelled in Sri Aman lake b4 captures..The famous biggest captured buaya in malaysia. rclxms.gif

12th mile- The area opposite wisma tractor & the 2 hindu temples & Rakan Muda complex...Now that settlement almost no more liao except the remained of old police station & the small mosque + few fugly shop houses & wooden shacks.

14th miles - New Village during Darurat - Famous Puchong Yong Tau Foo & Yap Chuan BKT.

After 1980 and early 90's new housing estates mushroomed started wth Tmn Kinrara, Puchong Jaya & thereafter Puchong Perdana.

Still got. There are two Orang Asli villages. One got moved to the top of the hill at Saujana Puchong. The other one is still there, near the toll plaza.
