QUOTE(PangurBan @ Feb 20 2011, 09:28 AM) I want to add a couple of power points, with concealed wiring (= hack hack, replaster, but the replastering I can do myself if they don't do it), add one lighting point and then two points for exhaust fans. This last one a bit problematic because one is high up my stair well but already got skylight/window up there, but the other one need to make hole in the wall. The aircon already got wiring done. When you do intend to install air con and wiring ? Smallcrab appointment is 26th morning. I'll call them again to check the price if two houses in wawasan can be counted as 1 trip. I'm kind of coordinating a group buy for puchong folks to save money. This post has been edited by aeiou228: Feb 20 2011, 12:34 PM

QUOTE(smallcrab @ Feb 20 2011, 06:52 PM) aeiou, well, i can wait, my aircond job not really urgent, more people is better for group buy. Added on February 20, 2011, 6:54 pmToday morning went to Foo Hing, bdr puteri for dim sum. Har kau, salad har & their trademark 'har dumpling' (forgot the name) very salty. The cook must have mixed up the salt with sugar. I blacklist this place liao. Better dim sum rest. in my list is dragon imperial, taiji eatery & hong kee at bdr puteri, all located nearby. I will will schedule you and pungurban on 5th March then. I will do mine earlier. After all they can't do it in 1 day also.

QUOTE(stimix @ Feb 28 2011, 09:42 PM) BTW, Anyone heard of rumour about Tesco moving out of current loacation to Bdr Bkt Puchong 2 as the current location targeted as new LRT station? Very wild rumour spread by aunties around my garden Highly unlikely. Because the logic is the compensation for the Tesco building is too large for Prasarana.

QUOTE(buttergirl @ Mar 19 2011, 08:05 AM) my brother is about to study in college and the traffic condition at the Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong would be the main factor for me to decide which college to choose from. I want to avoid any sort of traffic congestion during way back home. I live in Puchong Utama, my college option would be either Sunway UC or KDU UC located at Jalan Universiti, Bandar Sunway and Damansara Utama SS22 respectively. minus the time taken to arrive home, which road has a lesser traffic jam.. (If you guys did not get what I mean, please use google map and type in the places given for the route) Just to share my experience that the travelling cost ie, petrol, car maintenance, parking, toll is almost the same as you rent a small room near the college. You should also consider the risk of accident and time wasted in traffic.

QUOTE(PangurBan @ Mar 20 2011, 10:26 PM) Does anyone know exactly where this Millenia City place is going to be built? Found the answer liao - Puchong Prima there. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The Millennium Group of Companies announced its plans for the development of Millennia City – the group’s flagship 100-acre integrated development that is set to transform the commercial and property landscape of Puchong. This will also be Millennium’s first commercial development project. The announcement was made in conjunction with the signing of a management agreement with globally-acclaimed hotel brand, Hilton Worldwide. This agreement will see the introduction of Hilton Garden Inn, the first international hotel brand to be built in Puchong’s Millennia City that will offer upscale yet affordable accommodation to mid-market business and leisure travelers. . . . The development is slated to commence construction in 2011 and will be the Klang Valley’s premier waterfront commercial development combining business, lifestyle and world-class accommodation in Puchong. http://www.starproperty.my/PropertyScene/T...htBox/10859/0/0Interesting. QUOTE(MsPopcorn @ Mar 21 2011, 01:55 AM) sorry to interrupt. How u guys think about the new site Desiran BK5? Is it worth for rm800k? or with rm800k..we can find better one in Puchong area? and i saw old BK5 guarded with rakan cop? why? too many snatch thief? majority resident in BK 5 is what race? I still remember vividly Desiran at Bandar Kinrara 5 broke the Malaysian record of 2 weeks queue prior to the 1st come 1st serve launching date. The selling price then was half million and up. For RM800k, your loan interest alone is RM4000 per month assuming interest rate is at 6% and your just service the interest only. Good mixed of races but more than half are Chinese and balance are Malay and Indian. This post has been edited by aeiou228: Mar 21 2011, 04:37 PM

QUOTE(MsPopcorn @ Mar 21 2011, 06:38 PM) If im not mistaken, start selling price is rm489k +/- then now boom to rm800k The thing i worry is security and future market value.. the BK 5 only 3 sides gated..the one facing old BK 5 not gated.. as the old BK 5 current value cost rm500k..just afraid next time buyers/broker categorized our area with old one.. So your concern is RM800k or the security or being categorised as old area ? I think Desiran owners should be wealthy enough to pay and maintain the security guards.

Win Soon Fish Head noodles increased RM1 (13.33%) to RM8.50 per bowl liau. I counted the customers in the restaurant at that time was about 30+ people and I give a very very conservative estimated daily sales ie min 250 bowl per day. 250 bowl x RM1 x 30 days = RM7,500.00 increase net net profit This post has been edited by aeiou228: Apr 3 2011, 12:14 AM

QUOTE(ozak @ Apr 28 2011, 03:03 PM) Stick their brand and sell at double price. Almost a century didn't buy furniture from those shop. All brought from ikea. My home like rojak design furniture. I prefer buying teak furnitures from Nilai 3 wholesale centre. Cheaper than Puchong. Evergreen design, never obsolete. Just bought a 5' long solid teak TV cabinet for RM850 and teak side table for RM170 from Nilai 3 2 weeks ago.

QUOTE(PangurBan @ May 9 2011, 01:26 PM) I got 3.5 HP worth of airconditioning downstairs, covering the living, dining and kitchen areas, pau kaliau wan. These past few days, it's a matter of survival, not a luxury liao. Luckily, even without airconditioning, my downstairs tends to stay fairly cool-ish. But I feel this year's heat not so bad as last year's; so far lah. Planning to instal air cond in living and dinning hall too. 2hp at living + 1.5hp at dining cukup ar ?
