Hot air cannot flow in from outside because I close all the doors and windows, esp if I have the aircon on downstairs. But during hot weather I notice hot air tends to flow up and get stuck inside the stairwell.  I also plan to knock a hole in my bedroom, install a fan and suck cool air in at night.

I'm very new here in BK, and also this forum. Sad to say my very first general post is about my house being burglared recently. Happened around 330pm to 5pm. Not surprising, the security guard doesn't know anything until he saw my gate ajar. those bastards broke 3 of my solex and got in through the sliding door. notebooks went missing and whole house upside down. we worked hard day til night and those bastards just carried it away. broke my autogate too...!@$%^#@$.  forensic police came later at night but they said couldn't trace any clean fingerprints.

Spoke with locksmith the next day and he advised me not to get solex as their locks are quite easy to break into. As in not cutting it, but using certain special tool, those crooks will able to disintegrate the contents. some ppl said chemical can be used for this purpose also.

so, hopefully this will NOT ever happen to anyone here, as the impact can be quite traumatic, especially for the ladies at home.

On my installed security alarm system..Abit of remider for those on UNIFI... The current security system can only link to either TM fixed line or a seperate GSM module which will cost another Rm1K. ..Damn since I'm on UNIFI, my alarm system can't call my handphone & I need to add RM1K for the GSM module    ..I decided not too..so it's just an expensive standalone system 

But don't they need to redo a lot if I later koyak one door and replace wif window and then do another door?  Can give feedback about the company you went to?  Now got feedback about two from aeiou and stimix.

I simply called several service co. most quoted RM90-150 which have chemical cleaning indoor & outdoor.

I'm really confused with the 'service' scope of work & charges...

Do they instal aircon too?  I'm getting a 1HP unit installed sometime soon.  Also looking for electrican to instal additional lighting and power points.  Any recommendation ah?
