Saw the fake doom cctv camera selling RM9.90 lambak lambak right infront of Guardian in Giant Kinrara. I think the would be thief also can have the closer look at the fake one to differentiate between the real stuff.

Hot air cannot flow in from outside because I close all the doors and windows, esp if I have the aircon on downstairs. But during hot weather I notice hot air tends to flow up and get stuck inside the stairwell.  I also plan to knock a hole in my bedroom, install a fan and suck cool air in at night.
*
Caaan, unless your door and window is air sealed tongue.gif
What you plan to do to the stairwell in order to suck the hot air out is theoretically correct. Only the timing of suction matters because you only such the hot air out when the outside air is cooler. I suggest to use a timer to automate the exhaust fan.

Another break-in case in Puchong at a house without security alarm system last Monday.

QUOTE
Dear forumers

I'm very new here in BK, and also this forum. Sad to say my very first general post is about my house being burglared recently. Happened around 330pm to 5pm. Not surprising, the security guard doesn't know anything until he saw my gate ajar. those bastards broke 3 of my solex and got in through the sliding door. notebooks went missing and whole house upside down. we worked hard day til night and those bastards just carried it away. broke my autogate too...!@$%^#@$.  forensic police came later at night but they said couldn't trace any clean fingerprints.

Spoke with locksmith the next day and he advised me not to get solex as their locks are quite easy to break into. As in not cutting it, but using certain special tool, those crooks will able to disintegrate the contents. some ppl said chemical can be used for this purpose also.

so, hopefully this will NOT ever happen to anyone here, as the impact can be quite traumatic, especially for the ladies at home.

rgds.

If neighbour also, Just order a cup of tea for ~ RM2,50 Ok liao mah..and ask for the password.. biggrin.gif

On my installed security alarm system..Abit of remider for those on UNIFI... The current security system can only link to either TM fixed line or a seperate GSM module which will cost another Rm1K. ..Damn since I'm on UNIFI, my alarm system can't call my handphone & I need to add RM1K for the GSM module  mad.gif  cry.gif ..I decided not too..so it's just an expensive standalone system  cry.gif
*
I don't believe mad.gif The installer want to tipu you RM1k. Just insist you want to connect the alarm to your house phone. If really Unify got problem than just unscrew the cable only.
Make sure you watch when they pasang, you know which cable and which screws.

Ask the installer to branch out phone cable before phone cable goes to unify.

Or Unify don't use normal fixed line ?

But don't they need to redo a lot if I later koyak one door and replace wif window and then do another door?  Can give feedback about the company you went to?  Now got feedback about two from aeiou and stimix.
*
Get the alarm installer to come during the renovation and install the cable first. After renovation only pasang the alarm.

Today paid the MPSJ compound in the MPSJ library opposite MBA badminton court. I was given an early payment rebate (within 14 days) of RM30 and paid only RM50. Then I took the opportunity to pay my chukai pintu.
I can't pay the cukai tanah because they need the bill which I did not bring along.
On the way out, saw 2 cars kena tow back sweat.gif Better don't cinchai park the car in Puteri.

We got to send them a message. That the drink is too expensive and keep on up only. Either lower down the price or tutup kedai.

I too stop order drink at foodcourt or mamak and just eat.

Actually, that's healthy eating life style. Why pay to harm our own body with high sugar content drinks.

Yesterday ate Ansim pan mee @ RM4.30. Is this a new price ? Some more only pathetic liew only.

Today eat Loy Kee duck rice and siew yuk rice at restaurant KH 20 at RM11 for both and a glass of leong sui RM1.40 doh.gif

Aiyo... if I only eat and drink Tong Shin CKT for living, my salary will have to increase from 5,500 to 5,800 or 1,600 to 1,800 in order to match the price increased. rclxub.gif

Hi Puchong folks,

Need to service my house aircond. not cold liao.

Anyone can give your regular air-cond technician's contact number?

Thanks in advance.
*
I have one but long time never call liao. My last service was RM60 per unit (without gas) back in May 2008. The company is in Tmn Perindustrian Kinrara. You reminds me to service mine too. If you want I can call them to service together.

*
Yes they have R140A. The co name is Mok & Co engineering 0380756013

They charge RM50 service fee per unit (excluding gas) per trip for minimum 2 units. But I negotiated 5 units for RM45 per unit per 2 trips (2 different locations). Who wants to join the bulk ?

smallcrab,

They work on Saturday but this coming Saturday fully booked.

Thanks a lot, but can't join since i only want to service 1 unit aircond  sad.gif .

BTW, this RM50 service is what job? Normal indoor filter cleaning only ka? Cheap la.

I simply called several service co. most quoted RM90-150 which have chemical cleaning indoor & outdoor.

I'm really confused with the 'service' scope of work & charges...
*
Aiyo sakit, rclxub.gif I thought you at least got two units. Ozak u want to join the bulk ar ?

I can't recall how they clean already but they clean both indoor and out door unit.

Do they instal aircon too?  I'm getting a 1HP unit installed sometime soon.  Also looking for electrican to instal additional lighting and power points.  Any recommendation ah?
*
Yes they sell and install new air cond. They are not small timer air cond service co. They have factory lot in Taman perindustrian kinrara and they do mainly SME business. For wiring I'm not sure, Tell me what you want to do and I try to ask for the bulk price for you (if they do wiring).
