Maxis Broadband used to be bad. But somehow since many moved out, their glory seems to have returned.
On average even on peak hours I'm getting between 2.0 - 2.5mbps.

It's a whole different story if I run my downloads at 3am in the morning with a HSUPA modem.
*
Maxis speed is good , esp in HSUPA area BUT its the quota and FUP tat suks,

soon, reliable sources told me when UM launch its Blackberry package, you guys will be able to roam on Celcom 2G/Edge&GPRS Data............maybe January 2011 where there is no UM 3G coverage

Finally Celcom is willing to let UM to roam on its 2G data to avoid UM taking DiGi's roaming..............

anyone can confirm this??

will find a day to latch onto umobile's hspa+ network (berjaya times square), huawei e1762 modem, and post the speedtest/download speed to this umobile & maxis topic biggrin.gif

of course it is still limited to max 4mbps (?) due to the current speed profile. hope um will increase the profile once hspa+ network in commercial (this year? early next year?)

ho-ho-ho  thumbup.gif

The Huddle is a personal a wireless router(mifi device) running on battery.

You input your account userid and password in its web configuration screen just like you would in a wireless router by keying in its ip address http://192.168.1.1, type of security and SSID.

All your devices will connect to it via wi-fi b/g.

hearsay tat 8th floor and above will hav bad reception, and judging fr your location of 3rd floor i guess it is the best possible "height" for optimum signal, btw, did you buy the MiFi @ rm210? i bot it and it ROCKS thumbup.gif

No just the modem RM399. Why pay so much money upfront?

The Huddle is the 4G version of the Mifi device.
*
how much you paid upfront then?

the free 10GB data is for 30 days from the day u signed up rite?

wat abt the rm50 activation fee?
