I see lots of talk about not being able to get bokeh effect with LX5.
It's truly frustrating, I know. Make LX5 owners really jealous of dslr owners. vmad.gif
One 'cheating' way of getting such effect is to use panning technique. I'm not sure if you guys consider it as bokeh. tongue.gif The subject will need to move a bit. If it's totally stationary then of course cannot. cry.gif

as long i can take nice pics can dy...
dslr is still not my type yet... too bulky... =p

It's a small sensor la.. of course no blur unless you shoot close close.

Nah show u bokeh shot. N this was nowhere near macro distance. This was taken 1 meter away from the cup. What is in front or behind oso dont care. Even whole pile of rubbish behind oso dont care coz all blur blur. brows.gif brows.gif brows.gif

This kinda shot u oso can do with compact cam lor. Just put some toys on the table with some far far away lights in the back.
