Any idea of the successor of LX5?
Still considering whether wait or buy now because already had D90, plan to have 1 compact camera for spare

so far still havent heard of any news yet on the LX5 successor~
if cant wait have to choose between XZ1, S100 and LX5~

what is the aspect ratio at the lens for? adjusting it i will see the picture area on the screen changed but what is the effects?

U can set it to square or rectangular shape~
What u see on the screen is the pic shape when u view on the pc~

i planning to buy LX5 soon and i find out at kuching here most shop price is selling RM1599 .(so expensive )then i go check Shashinki is selling RM1388+8GB card+casing.
have any friend here from kuching ??can let me know where can get cheaper LX5 ?or i need buy online ?warranty time to claim ,i need pay shipping ??

If you have friend or someone travel to kl, ask him to buy it for you. Or get it from here trade zone. Than ask him courier to you. That would be cheaper. But remind you, don't use cheap courier. The lost will be high.

not sure if this is THE famous kenny sia blogger, but as always, if you do buy 2nd hand, check everything and make sure you get the original receipt or at least make sure panasonic warranty still effective. then check the shutter count also to see how much it has been used....

I also bought 2nd hand LX5 few months back and so far so good. Bought at higher price than this RM900 some more but lower than 1k

disclaimer: i don't have any info on this seller, just happened to see it recently and I remember someone asking about buying LX5 in kuching so just sharing this info. do your own checks and buyer beware!!!
