Hmm.. really? I kinda like Google Chrome for viewing PDF files since it has it's own viewer not using Adobe. Also Chrome has its own sandbox i saw somewhere.. smile.gif

I think Avast Free version is sufficient for most of the user. All the AV stated by TS has been tested by me before. Previous avast version got two running icons on the system tray which eat more memory resources, but luckily they've changed a lot of its features in version 5. I like its simple interface, very user friendly. smile.gif

Oh well Avira 10 lacks the web, network and behaviour shield(only fully functional in version 6, now only passive learning). Also I believe avast! scans much faster on Full scan after the persistent cache is built and with "Check Persistent Cache" enabled. biggrin.gif

I used to use Avira but I find the ad thing annoying, plus it always have false alarms. I've changed to Avast and so far no problems at all, coupled with comodo firewall (both free version).
