Paypaltine: I "was" on the Euro server, but its a lot slower than the American ones (Plus, you get far more foreign chats in it)

Anyway, my Monk just made it pass Borliss Pass... How far along the story am I?

BTW, Me/W doesn't work... shakehead.gif tongue.gif

client can be downloaded free. Account can be purchased on shelves or online. That means it's feasible to have it in cyber cafes smile.gif

guild wars just like all those mmorpg, 1 single game contents can be used for every users.

however every users need to buy cdkey/access key to create his/her own account for the game. just like ro, ryl, etc.

the different between those online game using cdkey, ie. counter-strike, warcraft, cdkey is associated with the account(email address), not stored in the local hard disk(windows). and it don't need monthly access fee or points like ro/ryl.

Nah ... I have a mesmer that's gone through every single one of the missions intact minus the occasional screw ups from random bad parties. You can play a Me/W without having to touch anything from the warrior skill trees. That's what I did for my mesmer. thumbup.gif
Give your mesmer a chance ... the clothes are VERY VERY nice. drool.gif

GW does NOT have any monthly fees. Once you have the GW client installed on your cafe, you can:

1) help new players register and pay for their account/cd-key (they pay you cash, and you make the payment using credit card - you can probably charge them a small service fee if you want), or
2) let existing GW players play in your cafe

You do not make money selling access points because there are none to sell.

Yes, i would recommend install using provided cd, then you would have less download need. Then you can just copy the whole folder to any other pc.

NO MONTHLY ACCESS POINT.

RM249 is the standard package, the most important is the CDKEY/ACCESS CODE. Ohya, inside got the installation cd.

Yes, normal & collector's edition. The different, just a "Divine Aura" (a special effect added when your character's hand is moving). Gameplay is the same.

Customers can create an account and purchase a cd-key at http://www.plaync.com/store/gw_purchase.html (choose "Buy instant (retail code online, download, no box)"). Cd-keys are locked to that account, and it is not transferable to another account.

It's cheaper than buying a retail box, but I'm not sure how much it'll cost since I don't have an account (someone here should know).

If you install GW in your cafe, you'll only be able to charge them the normal fees for using the PC for X hours. It's different from other MMOs where you can sell them time cards.

p.s. It's 1 cd-key per account. Each account can have 3 characters (if memory serves). Think Diablo and Warcraft on Battle.net.
