btw, it's quite annoying that party members keep on asking a monk to join their guild... sigh...

QUOTE(ZhaoYun @ Jun 20 2005, 01:21 PM) Nope, 3 months free, after that you have to pay. For voice chat, I rather recommend Skype, however, only for a bit high-end pc.Use any IM to establish a chat, that is free. I found ICQ give me the best clarity. Thanks. Bad bad bad. Last Saturday late night, I would have passed the Borlis mission, already reached the next area after a very very very long journey. |

hmm... finally understood...
there are more than 5 people in a PvP, hoho... Skype only able create a 4 persons + host conference, and the host must be strong pc... first time try the frost gate mission, a bit hard for a party of 5 people with only a primary monk & a secondary monk... |

From GuildWars.com FAQ
QUOTE Please be aware that there is a maximum limit of 5 territory changes for the lifetime of your account. Once all 5 changes have been used, your last choice will be FINAL. You can change the territory in which your character will begin based on the region you prefer. In other words, if you have selected the American territory, your characters will begin in that territory along with all the other players that have selected the same territory. However, if you later decide you would rather play in the European territory because of your language preferences or because you would like to join your friends in that region, you will be able to change your territory setting to this newly desired territory. Please remember that regardless of the territory you've selected, you can still use the International Districts to play with other people around the world. To change the territory setting for your Guild Wars account: - Log into your Guild Wars account and click the Edit Account button in the lower left corner of the character selection screen. - Select the Change Territory option followed by the Next button in the lower right corner. - On the Change Territory screen, you will be informed of the territory to which your account is set, and how many more times you can change that territory. - Select the new territory you would like to join, then click the newly highlighted Change button in the bottom right corner. - You should receive a message stating your account location has successfully been changed and your account is now located in the new territory you selected. Click the OK button. Again, there is a strict limit of five (5) territory changes for the entire lifetime of your account. This change counter will not be reset, and the Guild Wars Support Team will not be able to assist you with territory changes once your limit has been reached. i guess u bought this game in europe. however, most players here in american territory. u might consider changing it to meet the players here. finally, last night done the frost game primary mission with henchmen. careless me, didn't target those 2 riders, bonus mission failed. however, been at krysta, i'm going to reach lion's arch soon... |

Guild Wars got tons of "quests" & "missions" for easy leveling...
The most important, no monthly fee! If you enjoy playing RPG, sure Guild Wars, this Online Multiplayer RPG suits you well. All those MMORPG you mentioned, I tried before, some of them I throw away after 20 minutes... Or when I found it's hard to level up... |

guild wars just like all those mmorpg, 1 single game contents can be used for every users.
however every users need to buy cdkey/access key to create his/her own account for the game. just like ro, ryl, etc. the different between those online game using cdkey, ie. counter-strike, warcraft, cdkey is associated with the account(email address), not stored in the local hard disk(windows). and it don't need monthly access fee or points like ro/ryl. |

QUOTE(intrexpo @ Jul 12 2005, 10:16 AM) That's mean i just download the client and install in cybercafe. Yes, i would recommend install using provided cd, then you would have less download need. Then you can just copy the whole folder to any other pc.Where can get the monthly access point ?? How about the games they selling RM249 without monthly fees ?? Got 2 types of account ?? NO MONTHLY ACCESS POINT. RM249 is the standard package, the most important is the CDKEY/ACCESS CODE. Ohya, inside got the installation cd. Yes, normal & collector's edition. The different, just a "Divine Aura" (a special effect added when your character's hand is moving). Gameplay is the same. |
