the origins of runes are still a mystery, but as far as we know, monsters are already using them. they have them equipped in their armor, so sometimes you'll get some "salvage items" that are unidentified. when you identify one, you'll discover a rune. which is still stuck inside the armor piece. to get it out, you should use an expert salvage kit, and you have a chance of successfully getting it out.

sometimes the salvaging fails, and you only get bolts of cloth or something else.

hey guys, whats with items with yellow/gold titles? can i salvage to get something nice?

think diablo 2. you buy the game, then you can play limitlessly on battlenet. kinda like that.

anyway as for the colored items, purple colored is usually rarer than blue, golden rarer than purple. you usually get better mods with rarer color equips, but that's not always the case. sometimes you can get a gold salvage item with no rune in it.

just buy a copy of it and thats it..
no more cash needed...

Items that have golden titles are rare items that you could easily sell them off ranging from 1k-10k hehe. A golden/purple salvage item contains certain runes in it and to get it out you need an expert salvage kit, you wont be able to salvage it everytime though

yeah it has no monthly fees but do note its catch is that it will have expansion packs. but its still marginally cheaper than paying roughly rm50 a month.

btw nub, as for what u asked me about the preorder item i get, its a targe.... from best buy. i just found out how to claim the item today, damn noob man.

Even with expansion packs also there wont be any monthly fees mah...

no.

if you really play guild wars as what it is, you'll find that the levels mean nothing. if you don't like how you can't level up and be uber after lv20, then guild wars isn't for you.

prob we will have a larger party for coop mission, fighting uber epic bosses.. more skills.. or prehaps another race.. dwarves maybe.. haha

i rather not worry or think too much about the possibilities of features in future expansions.
