QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Oct 14 2010, 10:29 PM) Tengkiu... I'm located in Taiwan so the uncle pic is taken in a traditional wet market in Taipei County around midnight. Probably have to learn to get closer lo Because most of my pics have relatively large subject and I've been looking at this lately http://www.andreastarreese.com/ .. am trying to incorporate more of the background into the pic (kept the chairs cos its there and the uncle chose the sit on the floor.. he's not homeless people btw ). What's this guy doing? I guess, paying the for fuel ?

Using the Siggy 30mm. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Hey Fruitie ... just scrolled through the page again... both our photos veli contrasting in the approach to color huh. Also noticed there's some motion blur in the hubby and wife pic....you can try using a faster shutter speed.. bump the ISO.... ~ 1/125 will suffice to freeze the action. But it was within a glance and snapped them without looking into my viewfinder. I think next time I should try Tv instead of Av.

Goes to show composition's effect on the interpretation especially for the uninitiated. And yeah.. if I ignore the knife part and as a father myself.... I can't imagine being on the streets on having my baby sleeping in box.
