Haha, but this match Storari, Motta and Quag really performed badly though. Can't imagine if we don't have Bonucci and we have to rely on the old Legro-Chielini pair...

the ironic thing was...our ex-player did play well last night. (Balzaretti did a good job marking Krasic out of the game...Nocerino control the midfield very well). A Simple Guide(manager across Europe take note) to take a point/maximum point from Juventus 2010/2011:
a) Get 2-3 player to mark Krasic & Del Piero..their 2 most dangerous player. When they both are out..Juve attack = zero. Don't mention the likes of Pepe & Quagliarella. b) Make sure to let them have a possession for quite sometimes..and then counter them back.. It was their main weaknesses for a couple of season now. Napoli, Roma, Bayern to name a few already did this(in Turin) last season and it works so effectively. c) When attacking/counter-attacking, attack their flank. Bcoz their fullback are rubbish who can't defend and always shaky. Juz don't go through Chiellini coz he's quite a hard man to passed by. d) Rattle their midfield. Coz Melo it a hot-headed player and error prone who always became a villain to his side. Same goes to Sissoko who can tackle brilliantly but at the same time can lose the ball brilliantly also. e) If u can score 1st against them, juz defending for quite some time and counter-attack back(refer step *b). Bari & Palermo both did this in this season and got all the 3pts. f) And if they leading ur team near the end of the match (circa 60-70-80th minute mark). Don't be afraid to attack them. They always pegged back and defending after leading...esp towards the end of the match. Lech Poznan did this and earn a creditable draw at Turin. cheers This post has been edited by [kuaLe]_AGX: Sep 24 2010, 02:04 PM |

Why Del Neri should take the blame for our loss last night?
1. he started ADP as first eleven. yes,he is our captain but we must admit he is not his best anymore. he can't dribble like he used to be. even his second touch was disaster. 2. obviously, the team needed a playmaker not 2 wingers that only know to dribble (Krasic). 3. at the first half, they kept attacking the flanks and made a lot of useless crosses. it will be useless crosses if the target(s) is not capable to headed the ball towards the goalmouth. ADP and Quag, both of them is not a target man for high ball. everybody knows thats. 4. at second half, Aquilani were brought in. and the ball is still going to Krasic and Motta. why kept attacking on the right flank when u have Aquilani at the center of the field that can give us the creativity we looking for? 5. Krasic is not Messi. he still young, and raw. to give him a lot of responsibility and burden him to create the goals will kill him. he can't do anything last night, and still the ball is kept coming to him. oh Del Neri, until the next game and i will find your mistake again. btw, Pastore doing well last night. his skill, creativity. and he did OLE to Bonucci. |

as i stated couple of times b4. Playing with similar type of striker upfront was not our style.
Last season we played Amauri & Iaquinta & sometimes Trez (both are target-man) together..and then...we're rubbish. This season its a similar error but different type. ADP & Quag both are support-striker type. But both starting together.. Like cornell state b4, cross from the flank are useless when u don't have a target-man to finish it. And im still backing my opinion to the idea of playing with Quag/Iaquinta @ ADP/Amauri @ Iaquinta/ADP @ Amauri/Quag strike combo. Last night also the same. Del Neri sub both ADP & Quag out and put Amori & Vince at the same time. Then Vince score from Motta cross. Ever wonder if Del Neri start the match with SS/target-man striking force? and why i kept backing up my opinion? Ever wonder why ADP/Trez combo work so successful last time? Or Inzaghi/ADP combo? Yups...one are support-striker & one are targetman. |

Post Palermo match verdict: Rock Bottom
- Fabio Quagaliara (Supposedly Juve's main striker with Del Piero playing off him, pace is his only attribute as he was largely anonymous throughout the first half, lack a good striker's instinct and movement. Inconsistent) (Craig Bellamy v2) - Simone Pepe (Pace, determination and workrate in abundance but poor technique, unable to get past his man, did not offer any crosses into the box at all. Similar to Quag, inconsistent) (Poorer version of Liverpool's Dirk Kuyt) - Claudio Marchisio (The more I watch him, the more I feel that talks of him being our midfield general is overstated) (No lack of determination, but easily dominated in midfield, lack creativity and technique) (Did not offer support in attack, long shots were blocked most of the time) (Antonio Nocerino v2 (whom ironically played well against us yesterday)) - Marco Motta (Poor defensive positioning, easily dragged out of positions, lack composure when defending, poor in his crossing, offered little overlaps) - Vicenzo Iaquinta (Lack predatory instincts, rather poor in holding up the ball and bringing teamates into play) (He is however, still a good squad player and definitely lack quality to lead big teams like Italy or Juve on his own) - Amauri (Lack predatory instincts, poor in holding up the ball and bringing teammates into play, easily tumble over for a big guy, always standing in positions that are full of defenders) (Amauri should not play for Juve again. Just recovered from injury is not an excuse) (West Ham's Marlon Harewood v2) - Luigi Del Neri (Poor tactically, looked lost whenever Juve conceded a goal, lack the big club temperament) (Martin O'Neil v2, Roy Hodgson v2, David Moyes v2, Sam Allardcye v2) On the bright side: - There are still 3 players good enough to continue donning the Juve shirt: Chiellini, Del Piero and Krasic - Great determination and fighting spirit This post has been edited by Jusstatic: Sep 24 2010, 08:55 PM |

nice analysis..esp the 'version 2...v2' one
and IMO the player dat were gud enuff to play with Juve are Krasic, Chiello, ADP and Bonucci. Its our poor fullback dats make our pair of CB looks bad though *karma to us for 'violently' sacking our own legend Didier Deschamps after he brought us back to serie a...we still can't hire/get the good manager since.. |

yups...if only..ONLY if i can email this method to him....
to describe our Juve of 2010/2011 under Del Neri: a) still using ancient and easy to read 4-4-2 tactics b) team with no plan B @ C whatsoever c) complacent mentality i wonder la if we face a team...let say Barca last night.. I can't imagine how Motta going to stop Pedro & Adriano while Grygera against Messi & Alves...no hope. When Chiellini & Bonucci aid our fullbacks...the central area left open..and dats when our opponent capitalize.. |

indeed, since Deschamps gone there is no Juve manager were up to the standard. while last season i was hoping to 'Fara' Benitez to coming the talk of Juve wanted an Italian coach is much louder. yes i am supporting they wanted to bring in more Italian but if they are up to the standard than that its ok.
they brought in Del Neri and a few sub-par Italian that whats worrying me. they brought in Marco Motta where there is a bunch of good right back in the world such as Rafinha (he's gone to Genoa) and decided to use Quag instead of Iaquinta or Amauri which obviously they both can play as target man while Quag can't. but still i am positive about this season journey. like what Del Neri said, its gonna be a long hard season. he just need to learn from the lesson and mistakes he made last game. next game against Cagliari and i am hoping the team can make a amend. FORZA JUVE. |
