I got a feeling this season might not be better than last season. It might get even worse... I hope I am wrong..

I have just finished watching the Milan v Genoa match... Ranocchia looks alot better than Bonucci.. and we should have bought Miguel Veloso, he can pass the ball superbly.. he along with Mello would have been better than two hardworking farmer-like centre pairing of Melo-Marchisio. These two offer lots of running and lots of determination but sadly lacking in creativity and penetration heck Melo cant even distribute the ball properly.

haha the ironic thing was we got linked with both Veloso & Ranocchia b4...but genoa got them (inter got ranocchia). And another one was rafinha...were linked to dat guy for a couple of months...then genoa out of nowhere snap him also.. and then were end up with a guy like martinez,pepe etc

bout martinez...i hope he can prove me(us) wrong after his return from injury...if not..its another 12m going down the drain.. (lazio got the highly rated hernanes and madrid got proven oezil for around dat price...). We? Our '12million dollar man' yet to make his debut in official match

ok, tonight game we must achieve this targets, or else we are in deep shit.

1. must win by 2 goals margin. a clean sheet will be a bonus.

2. do not play long ball when playing ADP-Quag. don't ever think make those high crosses anymore.

3. pass the ball around. if Aquilani plays, let him dictate the game.

hopefully Delneri knows how to play the team now!

Problem is he will start with the Centre Midfield pairing of Marchisio and Melo again

this is a highly possibility...dono la...our manager since ranieri time are too afraid to use new/different tactics watsoever..
ya..i get it we need someone like melo to boss the midfield...but the prob is.. He hold the ball for too long for a DMF,
and frequently lose the ball in dangerous area..not to mention his reckless challenge also.. C'mon we don't need to be
afraid playing without a DMF in our lineup...as long as Aquilani & March did control the MF.

now were heading to the two of the toughest game to come in the space of 7-days... Against City in manchester and Inter at san siro... Looking at our goal/concede ratio id worried how were going to face city(they juz beat chelsea ffs) next. yeap we can score 3..but we'll conceded another 3. Defense really need to improve hard..

To be honest, where were our marking? Those 2 goals we conceded were plainly bad marking, and they weren't on the break.

On the other hand, good to see our "striker" Bonucci is on the score-sheet again.

poor marking by Chiellini(1st goal) and Legro fell asleep for the 2nd. Still the same probs.. our player can't concentrate after we score. Still i dono wat gonna happen if Cagliari score 1st last nite (we still winless in dis season when opposition score 1st (Bari 1-0, Samp 3-3, Lech 3-3, Palermo 3-1).

Now against the Citizen...well i didn't put much hope for us in this game..not to mention we will be "weaker" in the EL without the likes of Quag and Aquilani... But still i hope them to show a fight

But well, what matters is we won.. gone are the days when we fight and win Scudettos... Now we have to be contended with a CL or mid table finish...

Added on September 27, 2010, 12:59 pmA excellent performance from Krasic but the defense was horrible.. First goal was a case of very poor defending by Bonucci and Chiellini.

From what I have seen so far, Bonucci doesnt really impress me. He is good on the ball yes, helped out with a couple of goals yes, but his positioning is poor and he lets players go past him too easily as well. He is a defender, he is suppose to defend, I wouldnt want him to score a few goals for us and yet his poor defending costs us games.

Andrea Ranocchia has much higher potential than him.. but unfortunately, he will play for Inter the next season

One thing is, defender is probably not Bonucci's natural position. I see him do flicks and tricks before (and he executes them as good Totti imho). He did mention in an interview that he practises dribbling in training sessions as well.

Del Neri should have grabbed Ranocchia. Imagine this backline

Motta -- Chielini -- Rano -- Bonucci.

Motta and Bonucci are excellent bombing forwards. They might lack in tracking back right now (especially Motta), but that can be trained and improve.

I can't imagine this juve side without Krasic. I think this is the season where we should try to gel in as many young players as possible. I already given up on this season on winning silverware. Let's just take this season to rebuild.

yup...one of our weaknesses is when we go take a corner kick, BOTH our center back go upfront to help players in the box...the problem is...our fullback is not good either in defending.. See how countless time opposition punish us on the counter attack (Napoli, Bayern, Roma last season to name a few).

about Bonucci, he still got room to improve (he's still 23 btw). i think he can be the next Nesta (defender with a technical skill).

- We score 2 goals (given our attacking prowess dis season but conceded with same amount at the same time) -- check
- See at the below bar, the possession indicator.. We dominate the possession more but City beat us (given dat our nature to
keep the ball, attack after attack, got the corner, both our defender go up, and City punish us with counter-attack) -- check
- Score at half-time 3:1. (we're still winless dis season when we trailing at half time) -- check
- Our bad record against English opposition in English soil (Fulham 4-1 last season, Chelsea 1-0 2008, Arsenal 2-0 2006, Liverpool 2-1 2005,
Man Utd 2-1 2003, Newcastle 1-0 2003) -- check

Verdict: Expect the same outcome when we face City --> a lose

MMmmm....well I din't really fall for that. Juve actually have pretty good record against English and Spanish clubs .

Juve do need to be careful on the break though. Mancini's super defensive + counter attack is very deadly. Good that super mario won't be there, but they got charismatic tevez, the bulldozing Adebayor and the super quick Adam Johnson and the cheeky Silva. Not to mention they have a stone wall in Joe Hart right now (the first solid engilsh keeper I've seen in a very long while. Why din't he play in the WC???).

We might be able to scrape through with a draw if we don't make mistakes. Might win if Krasic is not marked, and Amauri is given enough high balls to head in.

Anyway, there's significant improvement in Amori in the Cagliari games. He's actually tracking back to defend as well, instead of waiting in front for that long ball.

Krasic to us was like Tevez to them.. If our defender can contain him, we might get something from this game.

The problem is, we only got Krasic & ADP as our main attacking threat..while City got Adam Johnson, David Silva, Adebayor, Tevez..not to mention they got "the inside man" Mr Vieira also

well last night i totally watched the whole game. let me give my reviews about last night game.

1. we did win 4-2, and controlled much of the possession. but i rather think that last night is like a training match and were used by Delneri to use different tactic (but still the same formation).

2. we did win 4-2, but luck has played a major roles last night. with Cagliari has 2 or 3 one on one opportunities that should buried the game, we got lucky to get to scores the 2nd, 3rd and 4th goal.

3. we did win 4-2, but its worrying me that none of our strikers get to get his name on the scoresheet.

4. we did win 4-2, but when using both Amauri and Iaquinta the gameplay should involving cross the ball into box. surprisingly both our wingers (Krasic and Pepe) did not crosses the ball instead dribbling it. to get it worse when Pepe almost successfully dribbling the ball into sideline, he turn the ball and pass back to Aquilani or Melo. i can say he is chickening.

5. Aquilani is showing a promise, but he needs to be playing and in the same time Marchisio also got a merit for a first team. hope this Thursday Delneri is brave enough to change the formation especially the games that we know we are not able to win it.
