More pre-season update;

QUOTE
Trofeo Tim in Bari on August 13th

Even this summer, Juventus will be taking part in one of the most important Italian summer events: the Trofeo Tim. The event, which is in its 10th edition, will be played at the Stadio San Nicola on the 13th August and will allow Del Neri’s team to compare themselves to Inter and Milan, two of the rivals of the season, on one day.

The formula will be the usual one: a triangular tournament with 3 matches of 45 minutes each.

Juventus will be on the field as holders after having won the 2009 edition held in Pescara.

QUOTE
Trofeo Berlusconi on August 22nd

user posted image

The Trofeo Luigi Berlusconi (Luigi Berlusconi Trophy) is an annual friendly football match. It is organized by Italian club Milan, and takes place in August at the San Siro, their home stadium.
The tournament was founded by Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi in memory of his father Luigi, and was originally intended to be contested by the Rossoneri and the Champions League winners. However in the first edition — which took place on 23 August 1991 — they faced Juventus.

The trophy has been won 11 times by Milan and 8 times by Juventus.

Agent Of CSKA Moscow's Milos Krasic Denies Personal Terms Agreed With Juventus

Reports broke yesterday that CSKA Moscow's Milos Krasic had agreed personal terms with Juventus. However, his agent Marco Naletilic has denied any such deal has taken place.

"The internet information about Milos Krasic allegedly signing a personal contract with Juventus is delirium.

"I have said recently and I will repeat this once again; there is no news on Krasic to Juventus. Krasic is an active player with an operating contract. How can something be signed if it is against all regulations?," his agent told bobsoccer.ru.

Yesterday Krasic told Sky Sport Italia that he had agreed personal terms but the long awaited switch for the Serbian international is still in the balance.

My goodness.. how long is this going to drag? He better be worth it doh.gif

Added on August 10, 2010, 5:01 pmBREAKING NEWS: Diego Set To Leave Juventus For Wolfsburg - Report
The two sides have reportedly reached an agreement about a €16 million transfer fee...

Brazilian playmaker Diego appears to be on his way out of Serie A titans Juventus asWolfsburg have made a €16 million offer for the former Werder Bremen star. A report on Sky Sport Italia claims that Juventus are about to accept the Wolfe's offer and the deal could be completed later today.

Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta and Wolfsburg's Dieter Hoeness met at Galileo Ferraris on Monday and it was initially thought that the transfer of Bosnian international Edin Dzeko was the subject of transfer talks.

However, later reports suggested that the two sporting directors were discussing the transfer of Diego and those reports now turn out to be true.

Wolfsburg are in the market for a new attacking midfielder because of the expected departure of Zvjezdan Misimovic, who is being linked with Schalke, Fiorentina and Atletico Madrid. New head coach Steve McClaren sees the 25-year-old Diego as the perfect replacement.

Diego joined Juventus from Werder Bremen for a fee of around €25.5m in the summer of 2009, but the gifted midfielder never really settled in his new surroundings.

As a result, Juventus have now supposedly decided to cash in on Diego. The Turin side are expected to spend the income of the transfer of the Brazilian midfielder on a new left back and a striker. Olympique Lyonnais' Michel Bastos appears to be the top candidate for the problem left-back position.

Sissoko & Melo? Gio already out...now Diego to follow suit..

we lose, but dis team got potential though. Not to mention the bucket of chance they got during the match. And the attacking trio look more lively compare to the 'static pole' of iaquinta & gilardino we got at the world cup laugh.gif

Balotelli and Cassasno clearly showed what our team was missing during WC.

Amauri no comment, I think he did pretty decent. He still have long way to go to make a big impression like Vieri or the 2006 Toni though.

I'm not surprised that our weak link is Molinaro sad.gif. When is Santon going to be back from injury sad.gif.

It's kinda weird to watch amauri wearing a azzurri shirt..feel it's like he is not "italian" enough to wear it.(i know he brazilian). whistling.gif
But when camo wear it, it's like normal italian. tongue.gif

Somehow or rather Chiellini sometimes still showed that he suffers from lapses in concentration. Hopefully Bonucci can back him up more.. hmm.gif

yups i did noticed it also. chiello no longer 'the monster' he was like he did in past 2 seasons (and who can forget the special treatment he dishes to ibra when he return to turin laugh.gif ) since he'd return from injury last season..

Haha, well, most of italy's brilliant's defenders always have 1 minute of concentration lapse. Remember Euro 2004? Even the legendary Cannavaro-Nesta always have 1 minute lapse (around 89-90 min). Luckily there's always Buffon and Maldini there to back up.

I think Chiellini will need to be stronger. Canna is no longer here, and Bonucci is still very young even though he's a good partner in the center of defence.

Oh well, there's still time. I'm happy that Balotelli and Cassano had a good game. I lost count how many free kicks Balotelli manage to earn for us. Imagine those number of free kicks earned, and someone with ADP's calibre taking it...Now I guess the free kick shots are now left to DDR. I guess DDR will be the next captain for the national team after Buffon retires.

Amori weird? Is it cuz of is samba-like hair style?

im more interested to get elia than krasic. during wc2010, he just didnt do anything wrong on the pitch. kinda amaze me.

my only regret is what took them so long to get rid of these players. molinaro, tiago, poulsen, amauri, melo, grosso..

I knid of feel that our transfers have gone downhill. After dragging for weeks we only managed to get rid of Poulson and stupidly sent Gio on loan instead of heavily utilizing him for the up coming season.. To add to the top of it, we are going to sell Diego and have yet to purchase either Krasic or Dzeko... and a much needed left back...

Now we are really looking at the prospect of Amauri, Iaquinta or Trezeguet leading our forward line and Martinez and Lazafame at the wings.. =_= This lineup is way too mediocre... How are we going to challedge for the Europa Cup or the Serie A with this squad?

Thumbs down to Marotta.. doh.gif mad.gif
