Use your existing gmail a/c or create one from a computer, then try to log in from ur SGS using that.

Create a file and name it .nomedia

Move pictures you don't want to see into a folder
Put the .nomedia file into it

Character count, I use handcent and there is a character count.
Or rather character countdown. From 160 downwards.

if you want to see the character in horizontal, press the back button once you finish the message.

Android is not hard to learn, in fact it's actually very easy.
Maybe it just requires you to read clearly, double check everything before clicking.

And I have no problems copying files and whatsoever to PC. Just use kies, not difficult at all. You will need to use kies and install the phone drivers first, if you haven't done that yet.

To transfer files click content manager.
I think everything else is self explanatory.

Go to contact list, send a message to your contact and a popup will appear. select handcent
You can also move the handcent icon to ur dock replacing the default SMS icon

For SGS users who do not want to turn off APN, you can reduce your auto send/receive data by doing the following.

Settings -> Accounts and sync
Background data - Untick

Market needs it turned on though.

Be careful when downloading 'antivirus' apps from market.

I have uninstalled MSNtalk and instead used ebuddy.
Because I feel MSNtalk may somehow have code written to initiate itself and try to send out data.

Because even when I do not have data or wifi on, it would always mysteriously turn itself on.

Other times when it is off, when I initiate wifi, it turns on by itself. I don't really have problems with other apps as much as MSNtalk.

So guys with APN on and got big bills, did you have a software like MSNtalk?

I use ATK to monitor. Everything else that I use often I whitelist. So lol..
But to notice google services and others, you need to set security to low.

I stopped using AMM because it actually made my phone slower. And it sometimes closes TWlauncher as well. :S And I wasn't using aggressive settings.

It gave me problems especially when I was downloading and installing many apps from market.

Screen protector and case, just get from lhungwah if you need it urgently.
