QUOTE(monsh @ Jan 2 2011, 12:57 PM) @speedhunter been using my z-tank like this since my 1st installation. no typhoon nope i dont plan to go for WC for my GC bcos sometimes i change GC twice a year . so i dont really want to spend a lot on the waterblock and end up changing GC . @owikh84 i got the anti cyclone but im still thinking how to mount it properly bcos its meant to be mounted on top . if mount at the bottom, the water will burst 4 ways and my WC system will end up sucking high pressure water from the res . is it ok if i put the anti cyclone as inlet and use the long stick as outlet ? QUOTE(BuckRoger @ Jan 3 2011, 10:05 AM) Hello there!! My tank is only 3/5 full.mind to let us know ur setup? which is inlet & outlet last time, im using 3/8 tube & manage to illuminate this issue by fill the water to almost full tank, but after changing to 1/2 tube the issue came back I use the long cylinder thinggy as inlet for the water to go to the pump and the small round cap with two holes as outlet for water from other components to go back into the res. I also read on international forums regarding the Z-Tank's cyclone problem and 1 way to fix it is to not use the cylinder thinngy. Try taking it out, maybe it will solve ur problem as well. Just to be sure, did u leave the cap off the res to bleed? QUOTE(monsh @ Jan 3 2011, 11:47 AM) @rsz77 2xgtx 480? LOL! I WISH! u cool down 4 components dude 2x gtx480 + CPU + mobo i think most of the water pressure lost already . dat's y u dont have this issue . i did what i stated in my diagram and the problem solved . im using 1/2" ID tube . Am only using a 4890 bro, no crossfire right now as the other card is sitting in my girlfriend's pc. To clear things up, I have: 1x Feser 480 rad 1x EK HF CPU block 1x C4f Mobo block 1x 4890 EK Full block Here's a pic of my set up. The blue arrow represents water going out of the res into my pump using the cylinder thing while the black arrow is water coming into the res. The picture is from my 1st set up therefore, the res is almost full. right now, it's much lower then that and still no problems so far. Hope this helped |
