my call not really that long but i am frequent in sms..gmail sync every seconds,wifi always on or 3G always on if no wifi available,etc...
jsut now my gf use only 8% of battery to watch youtube and some apps around 1 hour

well, i read it from an articles, i forget where is it, i do remember iphone 4 is the best in term of battery consumption efficiency.. but don't be sadden, SGS come very close.. just loss to iphone 4 bit a little margin.. i'm trying searching the articles, if i found it, i will post it here.

it is base on feedbacks... iphone4 that my colleague uses can last 2 days and he is also doing sales and application same as me... we travel around a lot and makes quite a numbers of calls per day...

Actually X10 can do 12h with heavy abuse and network keep searching for 2g & 3g...

great to hear that.. i thought ur an iPhanBoy .. have u tried to save up battery juice by doing the normal battery saving techniques? or ur just abusing ur phone without performing anything to save up battery.. u should try something to make a difference.. every device can squeeze up a lil bit.. u can also recalibrate ur battery and etc..

haha... tried lower the brightness, switch to GSM only for whole day... disable gmail sync... best rate is 12 hours of my usage rate...

what phone is that btw? X10?

if you wanna play games then i prefer buy psp lo... stupid ppl buy phones for gaming and entertainment only

i need my phone for work... emails, calls, sms is the most of it... and of course some web surfing also...

dude.. u need to mind your words..sry i have to remind u this but u really need to be careful with what you are saying.. how can u simply say people buy phone for gaming and media is stupid... ... android is developing and growing day by day with the latest GPU on board and what is that for? to do better in entertainment and mobile gaming as in a part of being a multipurpose phone..

a game is an app too.. you choose what to install.. if u dont play game, some other people might choose to play games on their phone.. u cant just simply say that they are dumb


when ur doing data connection, they are no other way to squeeze batterylife.. even if u push data connection when screen off, still it will drain ur battery fast despite of the screensize or processor i guess..

seems like he dosent do media and games.. yes, blackberry suits the purpose.. blackberry is the best for formal communication and workstuffs i guess.. android is more to "everything" oriented.. its google vision to be open and also be versatile in what the phone can do.. If one does not need such function, why would go for it..

i like android coz it is open source and it is versatile... but the battery life is bad thats is... really HTC should put some effort on that...


well it sounds like hostile question... every phone has it pros and cons... DHD is not perfect and it might not able to beat iphone4 or SGS in some aspect also...
