does anyone know what type of lcd does droidX and droid 2 uses? is it just a normal LCD or SLCD? If its just LCD, somehow it looks very fine to me already..

should be normal TFT LCD with gorilla glass layer for added protection smile.gif

LCD display at 800x480 are fine already i guess.. quite sufficient already.. the only 800x480 which is not up to eye level is the one on X10 but i guess thats because the colours which is not on par with the others (Android 1.6 does not support up to 16M). And also, motorola android devices has a sharper display since its 854x480, not 800x480 compared to the rest.

Europe will launch 1st. asia might take a few months later. no? usually like this. but is official that DHD will launch in UK 11oct.

if we order from other country like Malaysia, VAT is not included and we only pay GBP399..but of course u need to pay tax to custom in malaysia...

i think can declare as gift to avoid tax. I calculated, ship to Malaysia including shipping cost is only around RM2035, Desire Z even cheaper!

I guess Malaysia set will be around Rm2400

unfortunately,they won't declare it as a gift because every item they sold will need to record it as a part of tax law in UK
