yeah i know... he "MIGHT" as well tell me sometime this year. I hav a friend coming back from UK in november leh... if they are going to drag their feet on this I might as well get from UK... decisions... decisions...

anybody can post the reviews which gave the DHD a bad review? I have not seen any yet....

i was just reading the desire's manual.. to sync the phone with the computer with HTC Sync program cant we use bluetooth? is it that it can be done with USB cable?sorry.. android noob

not too sure about android.. but with my office laptop i set my hp to sync with my n95 every 15 mins and I hav not seen any corrupted entries yet. only thing annoying is that at >1m the data rates drops dramatically but I htink thats bluetooth limitation not the phone's limitation. hopefully can sync with bluetooth la.. otherwise mah fan everytime wan to sync hav to use cable

strictly from this picture alone i rather go with the DHD due to the more neutral colour balance (notice the suppose to be grey bars - the desire is pink all over) and not overly saturated colour. the pixel density looks fine to me here, but the picture is blur so its a little difficult to tell or come to a conclusion. wat ever it is i dont think htc will ever choose a screen that will cripple the DHD.

this article might help. but so far from official post and letters I have not seen anybody mention that the DHD will be exclusive to Maxis, although I remember they said the Desire Z will be.

can you post links to some? I have not seen many reviews about the DHD yet... and even more so reviews giving the phone a bad rating

FYI try looking at reviews for the Nokia N8... those are very bad reviews out there about it. Gizmodo.com didnt even bother to review it.

if you read the past posts here it is quite certain it would have been november already... probably around mid nov.

Reason for SiS to offer the phone cheaper??

Personally I would prefer Garmin software as it is very well supported by a local mapping community in Malaysia. But since its between Tomtom and route66, i would prefer tomtom as I know they do have better voice files.

I still hav my dedicated garmin gps unit anyway so the phone's gps is secondary.

HTC Desire HD Pull Case

This is probably a stupid question to some of you... but is it easy to buy pull-slide in cases/pouch for a phone this size? or does such a pouch already comes with the phone?

yeah... there is a tab which u can pull to help slide the phone out. Is it easy to get it in kl? or should just buy it from Uk?

hey i just got back from digital mall in pj and saw the Samsung galaxy s is it really 1000mha battery only? if it is then the DHD battery at 1230mha isnt raelly that small then rite?

u sure boh Jan? between the Desire and Desire HD launch is only 6 months. Since they announce in Sept and if later available in Jan 2011 that means nearly 4months. 2 months later got new Desire Super-Duper HD liau then no point to buy DHD ahahhah

i dont buy phone very often so i didnt know it would take so long to come to msia. I hav a friend coming bk to msia from Uk next week. if i knew earlier that it would take this long to come i should have just ordered it from uk sent to my friend's place. crap!

yeah saw that clove.co.uk habis stock now and not taking any more orders.

Cant help but think that the severely limited stock of the DHD worldwide is a poorly managed mess HTC have dug themselves into. you really have to hand it to apple that even when delayed, they manage to push a couple million units within the first week.

granted that there is a greater demand for the iphone, its pathetic that HTC with it's years of experience with building and selling phones is not selling well not because it does not have an audience but because it can't keep up with demand.

what looks like a winning phone design let down by poor marketing...

really? I just checked their website (three.co.uk) and I dont see them selling the phone sim free.anyway I think it maybe a little late already coz he should be boarding the plane today. wouldnt want to bother him by rushing him in the last minute
