if u feel that its washed out, not need to consider Desire HD then.. just go for Desire Z.. not everyone likes 4.3inch.. Desire Z is the alternative.. both same price

since u already mentioned "washed out". goto get DZ instead.

same price, choose desire HD. more ram, size bigger, better camera

yeah thats the best parts about it.. the down part only the screen

who care about the SLCD ... u got 4.3 size screen. that is enough already

The resolution is also important. Although 4.3 inches, the resolution is the same as the Z and regular Desire. That's why the DHD appears washed out, HTC got lazy and didn't increase the resolution.

Also for some mysterious reason, they felt like giving a smaller capacity battery in the DHD compared to the Z and old Desire.

confirm DHD is using SLCD. And this is y battery capacity is smaller.

I wonder will DiGi subsidize the DHD for existing Smart Plan users. It would be so great! haha.. already registered for interest..

DHD is TFT, not SLCD I think.

Anyway even if it was 100% SLCD, most reviews I've read still say it has poor battery life. So they should have given a larger battery capacity.
