if u feel that its washed out, not need to consider Desire HD then.. just go for Desire Z.. not everyone likes 4.3inch.. Desire Z is the alternative.. both same price rclxms.gif

The resolution is also important. Although 4.3 inches, the resolution is the same as the Z and regular Desire. That's why the DHD appears washed out, HTC got lazy and didn't increase the resolution.

Also for some mysterious reason, they felt like giving a smaller capacity battery in the DHD compared to the Z and old Desire.

DHD is TFT, not SLCD I think.

Anyway even if it was 100% SLCD, most reviews I've read still say it has poor battery life. So they should have given a larger battery capacity.

TFT... my Samsung G600 that I bought almost 3 years ago had a TFT screen.
