I've been away from malaysia for far too long, so forgive me for asking this, but i don't really understand celco exclusivity. I want the desire hd, so i should buy it from digi right? But does that mean i can only use the phone with digi? Since i won't be around kl when i go back to malaysia, i'm not sure if digi is the right celco for me. Besides, i already have an account with maxis.

So, can i buy the phone from digi, but not use digi???? I really don't mind paying the full price since i've been saving the money ever since i bought my htc magic last year 

you still can get a subsidized DHD if you sign up for a 1 yearcontract or more - it doesn't matter whether you are existing Digi customers or from other Telco.  Unless of course you already bind in a contract now with Digi, then you may m=have to wait until the contract expires.
