@stupid

Do not simply install the 1.06 ROM if it is not an official ROM. Please take note that this will void your warranty. sweat.gif

P/s: Is it an official ROM? tongue.gif

Hmm, not stable? There's lotsa people using Xda Mini right now. There was once demand too high till no stocks in the market. So do you think Xda Mini is selling like hot cakes?  biggrin.gif

Go play around with it first before buying. If it satisfy your needs, go ahead and buy it.  thumbup.gif

Guys... I have been using mini O2 for a month now but lately I became frustrated with it due to its OS stability problem! At one time it self-resetted.. Hard reset I mean... Luckily I backed up all my data a week ago.. but when I restored it, I lost all my latest SMS messages.. Sometimes, messaging application stop responding when you need it the most.. and at times, there are missing contacts and when you try to update with your MS Outlook or restore the original list, the problem persists... Any advice on what to do... before I decide to get rid of the unit and have a bad impression on the product?

It seems like you've already had your mind set on getting rid of your O2 Mini, there's nothing more to be done. I dont know about the many other users out there but your's is probably one of those unlucky units. I dont think I've heard anyone else with that trouble.

So far, I've been with my unit for a week, no auto-reset nor hang. Messaging application stop responding is also not a common problem I've heard from other users. Synchronizing with the Microsoft Outlook is important and should be done constantly if you're a heavy user.

O2 Mini may not be perfect but I believe its the best PocketPC + Phone out there. If you're getting rid of your O2 Mini, then go get yourself a phone and a PocketPC separately. I can assure you any other PocketPC will have this hang problem and probably that self-reset one too.

anyone here encounter da problem of malfunctioning of buttons after charged ?
it happens to me quite sumtimes but da screen is touchable when this probs happened which means can only control by touching da screen. So far the only way of solving it is reset.

anyway, i've just bought it last saturday... other den da mentioned prob, it works superbly to me...

khtang82: So long never see you post, thought u missing in action. tongue.gif

Pennywise: Wah seh, need to be so realistic huh? No business no friend? tongue.gif Btw, have you got yourselve a bluetooth earpiece?

Ok, guys, I saw somebody in lelong advertise that the O2 Mini battery for sale at RM120!!!

So for expert out there, how to verify whether it is original or compatible?

Perhaps for those who interested to get a spare battery, we can arrange a bulk order in order to get cheaper price? thumbup.gif

My mini did hang for few times, but I believe is because my 'testing'. Other than that, it really serve me like king and I notice that everytime I take out and play with it, some chicks do look at me.(I mean the mini) whistling.gif
