hi, well i use usb cable to charge at office, car charger in car, and desktop charger at home, so not really need for new battery yet

my mini is with white silicon thing, normal look....but i put an extra "hand" lanyard for samsung phones, so can carry it by hand and wont risk dropping (looks kinda girlish but its really convienent)

Hi everyone, i got 2 question to ask here, hope that someone can help me out

I noticed that some of the phones (such as Nokia 6600, SE T610) cant send files to my XDA Mini...Can someone tell me y? Izit because they are not complient to Bluetooth 1.2? Any solution to this?

Secondly, when someone sends files to my XDA mini, it wont shows indication that someone is trying to send file to u, accept? or not?
It will autoaccept and then when finish transfering, it only will indicate that do u want to save this file.
I notice that this is one flaws to get XDA infected by virus..Anyone can overcome this weakness?

Ok, I got some question here.

I notice that everytime I try to dial a number, it will sort of like autofind the nearest number for me. The problem is, previously all my numbers were in my simcard, then the salesperson of PDA Expert help me to copy all the numbers into my mini.

So everytime I dial, it will show the nearest number which is in my simcard, as well as in my mini. So how do I set the mini to show just those contact number in mini and not in my sim? Is there such a option or I have no other choice?

Beside that, my ex-K700i has this function like when I save a number in the hp memory, in the same time, it will automatically save the number in my simcard as well. Does the Mini has such function too?

Sorry man, can't help much in your Q since I'm yet to reach your stage yet... Most of my friends don't own a bluetooth enable hp.

Another thing is, when I come to this Start > Setting > System > Memory. The are three tab for me to choose with. Main / Storage Card / Running Program.

1. In the Main tab, the is a bar which indicate my total memory, then allocation for Storage & Program, How many memory in use for both of it and lastly the remaining memory. It allow us to adjust the allocation for each memory. But strange thing happen, after I adjusted the memory, it will automatically jump back to the original position. Why is this happen? Anyone encounter this before? Whats the difference if I allocate more memory for program and wise versa?

2. Under the storage card, it has 2 option to choose from, which is Storage Card and Storage. Why it has 2 instead of 1? Any difference between the 2 of it? Please describe a little bit more details as I'm blur on this...

3. I understand that the Mini has 64mb ROM and 64mb RAM. But how come it only shows Total Main Memory has only 57.41mb? Is this normal? This 57.41mb is RAM, then what happen to the 64mb ROM?

Sorry for asking so many Q, but I'm really a amatuer here. So all sifu-sifu out there, pls show your kindness to teach me....

as for ur frist question the memory bar will switched back to the default if the memory u allocated to either storage or program is not enough...
Meaning that there will be auto adjusting on the memory itself

In Mini there is 2 memory...built in 64MB and aditional 256MB SD.
Therefore it will show 2 indicators....
Built in memory also is known as ROM as 57.41mb has been allocted for WM platform...the rest is hidden allocation for WM platform..its the same concept as ur PC hardisk, when u check the space, it wont have the exact amount of space u bought..it will always be lesser..this is because of FAT....
therefore it is not recomended for users to use the 64MB built-in RAM for storage as it is mostly used for WM applications and additional plugins..

i have a question..just got a mini last week..been using..quite ok..
but i was wondering..during the app, photo contacts ( where we put the pics and ringtone) ii noticed that, there is a column which says GROUP.. but i cant add any group..
i wanted to put all people into different groups..so that i no need to change 200 ppls ringtone everytime i have a new song..can anyone enlighten me?

btw just bought the silicon thingy today from 1 girl n guy..maybe shes the one u all have been mentioning..not badd not badd at all

My first O2 Mini problem starts today because I installed the SPB Plus 2.5. I guess its not compliant with O2 Mini because after I installed this, all the SMS I sent out becomes multiple copies. My girlfriend complains that I am sending her multiple copies of the same message or else I wouldnt even know about it.

Anyway, what's a good dictionary? Lexisgoo 2.0 right? But I want a freeware... anyone can help me with this dictionary?

How do you reinstall your OS in case you delete the wrong folder and it crashes on you?!

u just hard reset.......everything will be automatically reinstalled, so no need worry...hold the "power button" and use ur stylus poke the tiny reset hole at the bottom of the phone, then the phone will load the screen and then ask u to realign the pointers, etc...and whala....all is as new

I had mine installed with SPB Plus 2.5 the minute I got my mini, by the salesperson. So far it works fine for me. Never heard of my gf or client complaining bout the problem you mention here. Maybe some setting is not done yet?

But I did encounter 2 times of this problem, all those program that I installed in my SD card, somehow the icon of each of the program will went missing and just becama a normal window icon. But strange is, the program still can be run.

After, a soft reset, still cannot, then take out my SD card, and soft reset one more time, and everything back to good again. Anyone knows what is the cause of this to be happened?

I was trying to copy my self edited mp3s into my internal memory, to serve as ringtone purpose. But due to this is my 1st time using a PPC, I just can't find a way to cut a several files in one time. Or it has no other choice but to cut one by one? Someone pls guide me here...

For the SPB Plus 2.5, it shows a memory meter in my Today screen. Stated there is a meter with 38%. I've been wondering this '38%' actually stands for what? The percentage of my remaining memory or the percentage of memory I had used or ????

If I have a friend who owns 2 hp number. What is the best way to put it in my contact list?

1. Any chance like modify the column to ex: HP 1 and HP 2?
2. Put one in hp column and one in work tel column?

In the main contact list, it will normally shows the working tel number rather than the hp one. Can I set that particular hp number as a primary number to call instead of the working one?
