I have a few questions about mini. Hopefully some mini 'otai' can help me:

1. Can i silence the 'tik-tik' sound? (everytime the stylus pen touch the screen to do something). If can, how to do it?

2. Can i adjust the message receiving tone to be louder or change to another sound? If can, how?

3. For those how has subcribe to GRPS service: Usually how much will be the extra charge for GPRS, let say, i'm using it just for checking email and send email. And i'm using Maxis service now. (About that rm120 gprs package i already know about it, but i think i'm not a heavy user for that).

no.1 just go to sounds icon la.

no 2. very senang one. u just copy MP3 file to Windows folder. just paste inside Windows folder. Go to File manager then u will see Windows folder. That is for ringtone. For message notification, u have to convert to WAV file and copy and paste into Windows punya RING folder. Inside Windows got RING folder. Copy the WAV file into it. To make Wav louder, just go to ur computer Accessories section and use SOUND RECORDER la.

meaning can set different sound for the alarm? cuz alarm all cant wake me up..hehe

1) go to START-->SOUNDS & NOTIFICATIONS-->Uncheck SCREEN TAPS box

2) Tone is based on your master volume. To change msg tone, find a .wav file and copy it into you O2's windows folder. Then go START-->SOUNDS & NOTIFICATIONS-->NOTIFICATIONS-->Event(NEW TEXT MSG)-->scroll the box to find your file and it will be your new tone.

3) Im only using maxis 1mb Package. If you're gonna use it everyday for surfing then its gonna be expensive. Since you're not a heavy user, then go for the small or medium package. If you exceed the package size, you'll be charged 1sen(peak) or 0.5sen(offpeak) per KB.

yeah..if u wana listen to mp3 to wake u up.. paste the mp3 file into root directory of Windows..

to convert, u need a Wav convertor programme.

go to www.download.com and search for convertor la.

I normally use DBpoweramp Music Convertor. Very canggih!

i tried mp3 but cant la..only wav...

I thought Windows Mobile 2003SE Phone Edition only supports WAV and MIDI as ringtones/alarms

nope...O2 Mini supports MP3 as ringtones as well. Though MP3 as alarm or notification sounds is a no NO....
