Carmen,

Dit you do the fax configurations right? Anyway this was what worked for me...

Start-->Settins-->Connections-->
My ISP
-> Manage Existing Connections
-Click General
Enter a name for these settings:MAXIS GPRS
Select A Modem: Cellular Line(GPRS)
-click NEXT
USER NAME: maxis
Password: wap
Domain:
-click Advance
-click TCP/IP
Select 'use server-assigned IP address
[uncheck the box] use slip
[check the box] Use software compression
[check the box] Use IP header compression
-click servers
select 'use server-assigned address'
-click OK
-click FINISH

These steps worked for me. Try it again and if it does not work, give MAXIS a call....

Sorry to barge in, but I'm a palm user (treonauts to be precise), and somewhat looking to migrate into WindowsMobile - getting an O2 that is..

For those who had experience in PalmOS or familiar with it, is it worthwhile for me to switch over?

How about the multitasking capabilities of the O2?

1. yes, you can. I suggest you dont use the registry tweaking to enable your MP3 from the storage card. It is not reliable. Just copy your MP3 to your device, under Windows folder, then look for Rings folder & paste it there.

2. i set it to off if left unuse for 1 min, or else i just press the power on/off button

3. yes, you can but only .wav file can be used for text message notification. i put my .wav file in the device, not storage card. (No need to go to Windows folder, then Rings folder)

Sorry for lousy explanation. If you dont understand, pls ask some experts here.

Sorry, off-topic a bit, i'm looking for a leather case or steel case for mini for my wife. Especially the case that already have a hole for the camera. So anyone here know who is selling that here?. It hard for me to go to lowyatt or sg wang just to buy that case cuz i'm at kuantan. Or just give me any link for that item that is selling here. Thanks in advance...

Install Microsoft Outlook , then you install Active Sync (maybe wrong spelling) in your PC. Then plug in usb cabel from PPC to PC, then just follow instructions to get connected. By the way you can get those two software from the CD that come along with the PPC. I just did it last night... smile.gif

u can go to settings>password
from there u can set 'prompt if device unused for' set the duration;
meaning if ur mini unused for a certain duration of time, it will prompt u to key in p/w when u activate ur mini.
