hmm... the FH3 didn't seem to ve good reviews...
noise control is pretty good though, as with the tradition of Lumix... This post has been edited by astria: Jul 26 2010, 06:49 AM |

nah... for budget camera, ISO200 is already pretty much the limit if u want minimal noise...
Lumix is usually good when comes to detail at high ISO... they tend to ve more noise while retaining details, while most others sacrifice detail for less noise... anyway, Canon Powershot A series is a bit of non-existent already... proably replaced by IXUS 300 and 400 series... though i ve to say Powershot A were great cameras for those wanting to take up photographhy as a hobby... a good mix of auto and manual controls, while delivering good phots (my family used to own A40 and A70, now my dad still using a A570 IS highwind: i actually prefer AA battery... it's more convinent when u run out of juice, and is much cheaper to replace as well... like for eg, the 2 battery for my Powershot G11 ran dry after 4 days of pretty intense shooting in Melbourne (over 300 shots)... the 1 in my friend's IXUS 100 ran out after 3 days... but heck, propietary battery is the trend... still misses the days of poping AA battery into the camera... Added on July 26, 2010, 12:53 pm QUOTE(wanttobuylaptop @ Jul 26 2010, 12:45 PM) the shutter speed can be adjust as long as 60 sec.. 60 is overkill la... u want to take pic of stars in the sky??? i wonder if i shot using low iso will it capture enough light? gonna do test today~ btw, sorry no unboxing picture... i teared all things apart within a minutes... abt 10 sec is already good enuf for night chots even at the lowest ISO... QUOTE(highwind85 @ Jul 26 2010, 01:51 PM) Yeah..something like that..so that explains the noise vs detail at high ISO.. for super zoom i actually prefer Panasonic Lumix TZ series... compact but still with more than 10x zoom... however Powershot SX20 has quite a lot of features to fiddle (like EVF powershot SX series not too bad...cheap and good...bulky though.. yeah..there's pros and cons for li-ion batt and AA batt...li-ion is more expensive to replace... but in terms of batt life, which one is better? AA with higher capacity ones? QUOTE(wanttobuylaptop @ Jul 26 2010, 01:53 PM) eh, i wonder hor...do i have to clean the lens? yup, it would...cos i saw my lens got a bit smudges...does not affect the picture tho u can use those cloths for LCD to wipe... |

QUOTE(BBXiong @ Jul 27 2010, 11:56 AM) can flash to custom rom mah...i right now wait galaxy S with full qwerty and flash..so far the Sprint's Epic seems to be the only one that fulfill my requirement..btw is Sprint's network compatible with bolehland's? Sprint is using CDMA... we use GSM... so no...i dunno my friend la... though i ve rooted a Desire before... a little more complicated than my Hero (Desire need to use computer to help boot into the custom ROM Recovery menu, but Hero dun need)... but still pretty easy... anyway, HTC Vision looks interesting to me... imagine Desire with physical keyboard... N1 on Froyo???http://androidandme.com/2010/07/news/droid...t-professional/ why is N1 much better than Desire? they should have almost identical hardware... edit: alright, juz read... Froyo has the JIT optimization which gives it a massive boost in performance... This post has been edited by astria: Jul 27 2010, 12:37 PM |
