ok, for the sake of explaining, in the event that network speed is really more than HDD transfer speed, then the overall transfer rate will be capped at the HDD transfer speed... as TCP/IP requires the receiving end to acknowledge that it has received a packet before the next packet will be dispatched by the sender...

hmm... i can oc my Hero till 670+MHz leh... try higher la...
now the ROM that i am using is based on Legend... still pretty smooth as long as i dun use live wallpaper... |

if u oc too much, the phone will hang...
juz remove the battery and reboot, it will be back to the default clock, simple as that... anyway, i am now @ 19MHz when idle... super batter saving sia... XD 3hrs of idle = 1% battery...Added on July 24, 2010, 7:08 pmoh man... i am so dead tmr... last night drink till 2am (Jack Daniel anyone??? ) then today afternoon went to play soccer for 1.5hr... juz came back from bush dance, then tmr morning climbing hill...This post has been edited by astria: Jul 24 2010, 07:08 PM |

yeah... the ROM i am using max can go 710MHz (actually all the custom ROMs for Hero now basically support till 710MHz)... but my phone can only run till 670+MHz, beyond that it will hang...
