wat he said is right... ppl got individual preference... is just like you say Vios is a damn bloody old technology car, City is much better with better technology... but yet the sales of Vios is way better than City, face the facts it is... that is just because the car reliability is better, if you really want to know the reliability of Toyota vs Honda ask some ppl which really has 2 cars...

So that is just personal preference, well pls tell me what you wanna do with the Smartphone??? Main task (and yet after millennium also same) Calls & SMS... secondary, for business or sales or marketing ppl is checking their stuffs on the go eg. emails, appointments, to do list, view documents and etc; but for normal ppl is just entertainment, gaming, music, movies and etc... do you see the point there...

Android Fanboys face it, the phones with nice screen is HUGE (Desire, Galaxy S, Evo and a few others) in our pocket... it's apps in the market place is not as good as Apples Apps, and it is not filter, eg recently got a few of wall paper apps has the ability of hacking ur system... resource of apps unknown tends to have hacker living around the market place to intrude to ur phone... u also need to do something to ur phone to get full accessibility to the market like iphone (from what i read of)... and some of the smaller screen buddy will not able to upgrade to future system more than 2.2, but we are still waiting for news from google... and smaller screen buddy also will has limitation on apps too...

Iphone Fanboys face it, the phone's reliability is not that good, i could not change the battery if it is flat like some others smart phones... its limited connection to the worlds outside is a major inconvenience for all of the user... and the major thing is the system cannot be majorly customized to some geeks users...

what i see here there is a lot of fanboys in this thread, mostly is android...
you all only say what you think but u did not think in a neutral position where some user prefer to have a simple system where they can click and use, but some prefer to has modifications on the system... it is just personal preference...
u could not say to ur buddy like this: eg: "Bro, you gf/wife does not looks good at all, come on divorce/kick her off la... u can get a better ones..."
and my story is, i had a fren whom always change HP got a desire and he sell off within 1 months... he verdict is nice to see and play with but complicated system... just like him some ppl prefer to have a phone which serve their needs and purpose and not to trouble him...

that is just some example of individual preference...

don flame me as i'm on the fence have yet to decide Android or Iphone, as i need a smartphone to support my job desperately... used WM b4 but the phones problematic already, major i could not really charge it, as it is a very old phone i don want to fix it... i only customize my phone for the 1st 3 months, after that i just use as it... as it meets my requirement/expectation already...

*** could you all get a better life, rather than spend you time here wacking others ppl... y don you try to work in a smartphone shop and see what's ppl want... the percentage of ppl wants simplicity or much more customizable smarts phones... and how many of them are really go and play with their customizable smartphones for months after buying it...

Both have their own high-end features for smartphone family..
1GHz processor, High res display, and even nice camera with huge pixels nowadays plus 720p recording anyone?
It just the matter when iPhone users jailbreak their phones and Android users rooting theirs..
Both also will fully access the phone and can be granted as customizable smartphone..
easy to use or hard to use, both also same when applying to the smartphone.. it's either you wanna cross the limit or not.. ready to take the risk or not..
froyo and iOS4... both also have plus and minus..
one is trying to save the battery usage while the other one is fully optimizing the performance..
one with flash support, while the other one with html5 or whatsoever..
expensive? android also has expensive phones nowadays (but consider affordable to midrange people).. just say it.. galaxy s? desire? nexus one?
but maybe because of brand marketing, iPhones are slightly expensive and maybe some absolutely save their fulus to just get this Apple brand..

For me, iPhone just have their own exclusivity and target.. Not much to choose right? while android is spreading anywhere now.. not to say HTC, Samsung, Motorola, SE, and much more which showing their willingness to share with everybody!!
I like to do comparison and see which company is fully using the advantage of the same OS... sounds like android right?
If iPhone then, you can only compare with their predecessors.. 3GS, 3G, 2G... coz they are the only using it.. and of course the latest is the best..

Fanboyism needs to stop y'all. I think the samsung galaxy S is cool, but then, the iphone has better apps imo. For me im gonna wait for windows phone 7 before buying a new phone

From the way Apple, Google and Microsoft launching new thing, if we look into productivity now.. Of course Google or Android is increasing, Apple or iOS getting slower increment compare than before with their antennagate prob now, while Microsoft is totally lost because their last 'interesting' project is WinMo 6.5 which anyone dare to compare with Android or iOS?
Let say, HTC HD2 against Droid X.. Both has 4.3" screen right? WinMo 6.5 vs Android 2.1.. Same processor.. Just look at the lame interface HD2 which nowadays someone already flash it with Froyo or Eclair.. Why? Getting bored? Or because HD2 can't use Win Phone 7 at all?
C'on, eventhough their Win Phone 7 get great feedback from mobile's bloggers, maybe during their launching time other company already fall in love to just get Android, Symbian, Meego or other Open OS to produce their own smartphone?
