starcraft 2 ,  diablo 3  ?  and  also ffxiv , that game alone warrants an upgrade on its own.

anyone is making a new linkshell for msian players and an admin to handle dkp system?

i will be playing the pc version first tho i not yet decide which version to buy. my gf will follow up, when the ps3 version release. i was hoping NA, coz i can hook back with my ex-ls friends but me n my gf sorta want to play with local players.

from the list.. i think we still lack of players for stuff like dynamis, hnm, znm, snm n einherjar (ok i know this events might not in ffxiv but something like that). maybe we can hook up with sg players coz they are gmt +8 as well. plz pardon my ignorance coz i'm not really up to date with ffxiv progress but i guess more members means easier to do big events.

it will be nice to hook up with some really hardcore people coz if u're ex-ffxi u should know why.

we both have experience on kill sea-nm up to av(b**** to kill), wryms, einherjar up to odin, sky-nm, limbus-finish, salvage, nyzul-complete, dynamis-all, znm up to pande warden but fail, toau-hnm, hnm, scnm, ks99 and those asorted nm in wing of goddess.

events we love most - dynamis

activities me- fishing n goldsmithing. my gf - cooking n clothcraft. guess we will be doing the same in ffxiv.

edit: as for jobs going to play.. not yet decide. my gf will mostly play whm and blm.

so what's the different NA n EU?

NA need 3d secure EU don't? which version are you will be using?

why not just get CC or Debit card with 3D secure? so don't really have to worry about it.

can we still play with jp players ? or they fall under their own region?

got my ffxi ultimate collector edition yesterday from play asia.
it took them 7 days to delivery to my house from HK

i strongly suggest u guys to gather all english-speaking asian to play in same server by spread this new in all HK, TW, SEA forums.

Interactions among players is the main part of MMORPG, FF14 environment or culture will probably same as FF11: [JP ONLY] [ENGLISH, NO THANKS]. Our play time is usually after work or school 7pm-11pm, same as japanese, but japanese will reject non-japanese-speaking people to join them lately after suffered from culture crash with North America (NA) players, which affect us directly.

There will probably many missions/quest/monster/battlefields that give decent rewards such as good equipments but required a team of 6 to 24 members, you will see different japanese leaders shout in the town and able to make a full members team quickly, but if someone is shouting by english he will get ignored by everyone. To do different activities, english players oftenly need to find members in their own linkshell or community and make appointment, which mean u cant play certain thing anytime u want by just waiting shout in town, unless there are enough english players(with good fame/skills though).

if u can speak little japanese or already learnt how to survive from FF11, then it doesn't matter which server u go. Also, never to think that ur friend who speak japanese able to take care of u all the time.

like the major people in our ls, we have been together 6 years, don't really have problem with that. we're now at least 26-40 in term of age w. tho they live in the states but most of them are asian. we have around 30-40 members for now n still recruiting n things are looking good so far.

in a ls, there is bound to have a bad apple, it just lies on ls officer leadership. sometimes i even have some dispute with other officer, but we never left for each other.. n usually will be fine after a cooldown time. we don't hold grudge for each other. tho i'm recruiting members from lowyat, or any new members that interest to join, he/she will put under observation for a period of times. running few events, checking his attitude n skill which we took at priority. we take friendship very deep, umm dunno how to explain. as for the very bad players with bad attitude, we will just kindly ask him to leave the ls w. simple as that.

if you respect our point system, no drama then. to earn respect from people u also need to respect people first.

to prove yourself worthy, you need to work hard on it ^^ on occasion, when we have some major problem, we will hold up for meeting to discuss a matter where everyone can come up with a decision.

for us, i dunno how about u guys .. but linkshell for us is like a family w ^^ this is opinion how every success ls should be, and most other ls i know are also the same. sometimes we even have alliance with other ls to do some great thing which i really enjoy.

i run a good guild in wkc w, i choose my member carefully and my wkc  guild are following me to join us in ffxiv w. it will be a major blast.

i personally would like to join ls/guild but not for serious hardcore endgame content.. maybe just for fun, laugh, chatting, sharing knowlegde & experience.. i had enough with WoW.. i have a real life commitment, family and rather to throw all my commitment in real life family rather than virtual 'family'.. enough only just friends, maybe who likes yum cha at mamak after tired doing quest lol

lol pijal, ya me too, i dont want to commit too much, maybe a little on gathering/crafting yes, but end game not so much maybe sometimes but not most of the time xD
So any one want to organize Yam Cha? Im very bad at organizing xD
