They have made FFXIV more solo/casual friendly.

Still many Asian MMORPGs fall into the grindy type. I think their rationale is still hard work pays off.


I had the sense of accomplishment when I played FFXI - doing my Genkai even fighting Maat at lvl 70.
And also no doubt a PSP game - Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.

After getting past those so called "Walls/Barriers", it had a great feeling. When people/members gave you "gratz", it felt great.

F2P games are even worst!

Too much talk of this and that.
Get direct to the point - whats the start of FFXIV for us?

I stopped using Streamyx for over 2 years now xD

Played FFXI with Digi BB - I was getting a nice 300 stable link without any VPN/Proxy.

I'm using Digi BB Extreme RM188 a month 25GB cap.
Yeah its pricey, but I'm very happy with it.

I played LoTRO, Aion, FFXI and other F2P games with it - no problems.
Exception was Aion, I had to rely on Proxy because they blocked the ports

As for downloads... I can download at an average of 200kb/s. One time it even reached 400kb/s.

I really dont know seriously if the packages make a matter. I took extreme at that time because they offered the "online gaming experience".
They have removed the extreme package becuz of abuse.

10gb should be sufficient, unless you're downloading the client and patching =x

Other things that affect the wireless broadband is your location of course. Whether the signal is very strong and whether you're staying on ground level or higher.
