Dam my Lappy could not play even it was running on geforce 9600M GT , so yesterday went lowyat bought me my new rig hahaha .

Intel Core i7 2.8 930 , gigabyte x58-ud3r motherboard , corsair gaming 6gb DD3 1333mhz ram , Asus EAH 5770 DD5 1G crossfire , Coolermaster RC 690 . going to add another 5770 and 6gb Ram in the future broke now with this rig T_T . This better hell be able to play FFXIV hahahaah.

I go on and PM him what her spec's are and she says

HP intel core i7 laptop @1.80GHz , 8g ram , with a geforce GT 240 graphics card

and the FPS was great for her...

I wonder if PS3 version will be as nice , i doubt it but sure much cheaper than getting a new rig for this .

I'm thinking... FFXIV is processor intensive like FFXI and not GC dependent very much.

Wow geforce GT 240 is about RM 370 in the market and can get such a good graphic and she is using a laptop some more OMG .....then i don't think i need to add another graphic card then . thanks for the info , also your first page info is such a great help thanks .

I bought new Chassis Cooler Master USP 100 with clear side panel.
2x 90CFM Cooler Master Fan 2000RPM
CPU Cooler Hyper N520

My CPU was running at 70C max processing 2 days ago, but now go around 56C at max.

Since the whole SEA is missing, will we be able to play the game when it goes retail?

The game seems to be regionally locked.

EU version is open billing... or unless you use service like Entropay

Im betting on release, saving up cash for a GT460/480 in future. upon release is my final decision to either continue on ATI or going for nVidia.

Added on September 6, 2010, 11:36 amso far I have seen some benchmark and graphic quality that the HD5870 is better than the GT480 but the performance of the GT480 should be better I guess they haven't update the driver patch . the GT480 is also more expensive natural about RM 1799 in comparission to HD5870 estimated 1400 .

run ffxivconfig from your ff folder before starting client. it's the same app used to change language i think.
