Ok i will update on how to get the updater to work.
Windows XP 1. From the Control Panel, select “Network Connections” -> from the toolbar, select “Advanced” -> then select “Optional Networking Components…” ![]() 2. Select “Network Services” -> choose “Details.” ![]() 3. Check the “UPnP User Interface” box and select OK. ![]() Windows Vista 1. From the Control Panel, select “View network status and tasks” -> in the “Sharing and Discovery” box change the “Network Discovery” setting to “Turn on network discovery” and select “Apply”. ![]() ![]() 2. From the Control Panel, select “Additional Options” -> then choose “Security” from the left tab. Select “Allow a program through Windows Firewall” ![]() 3. Select the “Exceptions” tab, and in the “Program or port” box, check the “Network Discovery” box. Finally, select “Apply” and then “OK.” ![]() * UPnP is enabled under Windows 7 default settings. Unless you have previously changed these settings, no setup is required. This post has been edited by shojikun: Aug 22 2010, 12:51 AM |

After reading this interview from http://www.ffxivcore.com/topic/11248-famit...scom-interview/
Looks like fatigue system causes you to gain less and less xp the more you play a certain class, unless you change job. |

QUOTE(Arzwart @ Aug 22 2010, 02:52 AM) After reading this interview from http://www.ffxivcore.com/topic/11248-famit...scom-interview/ yup you will get the Surplus Points. This will actually minus the Points you actually get..Looks like fatigue system causes you to gain less and less xp the more you play a certain class, unless you change job. Say "You receive 500 Points for your Conjurer Class". and "You receive 250 Surplus Points for your Conjurer Class." Means 500 - 250 = 250 Points you actually gain.... lol! |

I would prefer fatigue systems to be done nicely. The more you play, the lesser the exp or you receive penalties. To prevent some hardcore players becoming a mindless leveling machine. =P I was such machine which plays almost 20 hours daily.
At least people could focus on crafting or resources gathering when they hit their leveling limit. Trading and socializing with friends and members would a nice social aspect and health for the game. And for some game, fatigue system sort of eliminates bots from running around. Instead of letting your computer steal your fun of gaming, why don't sit down and play a good game manually for 4-5 hours. Just my opinion. |

Just as my thoughts, I like your way of thinking is so positive! thank god there is still someone with a sense! Just my opinion. @wangpr Nope i going to stick with one and if i want more retainers i will just pay them an extra 1$ for my 1 character. Yes you can purchase up to maximum of 7 retainers for each character and each has one free retainers! (Please elaborate this as i know we can purchase more than 1 retainer for 1 character but not sure if this apply to all or single characters.) |

Is fatique passively counted or it's actually affected by stamina? At least people could focus on crafting or resources gathering when they hit their leveling limit.
