QUOTE(c0c0nut @ Aug 9 2005, 12:10 PM) you do the math i provide you the information Hey, all Hilux member, please help me! Currently i'm suffering with my Nissan Cefiro 2.0 FC(0.20/km),then my friend told me that new Hilux FC fulltank RM82+- can ran 800km,so quickly go and order. But now i saw the source that provided by coconut really scare me!hilux fulltank is about 80liters from source: highway+city driven = 600km highway@120km/h = 800km hope this is useful. Hilux Review I already place order for Hilux Manual last week, i only can get my car on DEC, but i rather wait until next year JAN 2006. My cefiro 2.0 petrol: Fulltank RM100.00 = 500km Hilux : Fulltank 80ltr x RM1.28 = 102.40 = 600km Lagi teluk lah! with same amount only 100km extra but need to pay more RM1300 per anual(cefiro 2.0 = RM400) Nightmare |

for town driving,FC is RM 0.16 per KM,for highway (140-160kph) RM 0.10 per KM
Nowadays, diesel price go up so high,if diesl increase RM 0.20 per liter,ur town driving FC will be increase by RM 0.03 per KM But i think Nissan Cefiro should be much more comfortable than Hilux. But it ia not as safe as Hilux la, then Hilux can go for heavy duty and got 4 wheel drive and carry goods on the deck. |

yeah you got to look at that way...4x4 has its good and bad so is all other cars...i am sure 800km inclusive of highway and city driven....for me city driven can reach 650km....no joke...if you use for highway lets say 80% can go up til 900km...already proven...

Cannot compare between diesel and petrol engines. Diesel engines are much much more efficient than petrol engines.

I'm still in doubt, whether change to Hilux or not. Because nowaday
FC is most impotant! 1 yr 13,000km= cefiro-fuel RM2,000 + roadtax RM400 = Rm3,000 Hilux-fuel RM2,080 + roadtax RM1,720 = RM3,780 Seem like cefiro still more save compare to Hilux, if we only talking about to saving money!! |

cannot compare like that one.... think la, if you need t carry 1 ton things. ur hilux can do one trip done. i believe ur cefiro need at least 3 times, den gotta take 3 trips loh. ha. for comfortable wise, hilux not bad. can say is the top in the 4X4 car.
u have to think the second hand resell value ratio. erm..... |

the bottom line is not to compare cars like that.....is how you use the car....the FUNCTION of the car and how it serves your daily usage....everyone is different....

for me,i'm just student,i do not carry anything,i like Hilux is bcos i like the Toyota- heavy duty, then high vehicles- can see clearly, then got 4WD- can go muddy place or longkang, got big boob and butt -safer than passenger car,to finalise Toyota reliable, heavy duty and safer vehicles.
