Just bought a d90 a few days back, heh heh.
Had a hard time choosing between Canon d550 and d90, since they're both quite alike despite their age and HD video capabilities.

I must say I made the right choice =)

hmm. I wonder if there's a specific benchmark or standard for this thing. cos I feel like it's rather subjective. What might be nais to one might not look pleasant to the other..?

Anyway, uploaded another.

Looks quite fine to me. Had quite a hard time tweaking the exposure and brightness because I didn't really know about fill-flash until I've actually went out to shoot. how dumb. lol. Any comments?

Thanks! My pics can be seen on my blogshop (on my sig), haha! Bought my very first DSLR to take the pictures of my products.

I got a few minutes worth of online lesson on aperture, ISO and shutter speed, and immediately started taking pics of my model already ahahaha.

Very amateur as compared to all the beautiful photos I've seen on this thread thus far. Hope to learn more from you guys!

Thanks mate! Yeah, I really had a hard time! I was totally clueless about DSLRs and had to make a choice based on tons and tons of online reviews.

Nah, there's no specific benchmark, if you are happy with it then that's the best I guess smile.gif. But then again, I think she isn't the fair type anyways so the skin color if the saturation or contrast were cranked up her skin would look sorta burnt.

Don't know how to reply you, I use TTL + compensation or manual only. Never used the GN before.
