lighting is very important, your 2nd photo not enough lighting. and pose also important, bokeh is a plus. generally i think it's better and easier to take portraits outdoors, more space, more light. much easier to get bokeh too.
*
Thanks for the comment! Will try to make it outdoor next time..yeah, i agree about the pose, she's stiff tongue.gif

Thicker, but its like those cardboard material (but made of plastic). Good thing is you can DIY your own bounce as it is strapped using velcro to the mount. Somehow I like old one cause easier to keep tongue.gif. This one the plastic stand kinda big.
*
u mean the reflector can be taken off the mount and the transparent plastic mount is also thicker?

The transparent plastic mount is very big lor... compared my version.

ic..wonder y they change the design..coz i think i like the old version better too..that plastic reflector looks like a real cardboard from a distance tongue.gif just to conform, this is the one with new design right?

Cheap! These shops are earning a lot from selling the DFD dry.gif.
*
what is the price of DFD in malaysia? i guess it is cheap since the HQ is in the US, so no middle man and "export" cost to malaysia..

Perhaps Joe Demb received complains about the cardboard look and decided to use old material again..can't wait to learn using this stuff, but now kinda busy sad.gif
