Just wondering, 70-300mm VR suitable to use as potrait image or not? Don't have the $$$ for 70-200mm VR lol

50mm f/1.4 at f/2.0 i heard as sharp as macro lens

y not? even UWA, macro, or super telephoto lenses cab be use as portrait lens
there's no reli specific portrait lens, its up to ppl's preference

Frankly, I don't see if the 50mm f/1.4 @ f/2.8 is sharper than the 70-200 at f/2.8 or not. LOL, can't see the differences. But one thing, the 70-200's color is superior biggrin.gif

Sharpness, you may see my pics tongue.gif. Mostly shot at f/2.8, if bump to f/4 even better xD.

Your 70-200mm is super duper sharp already, even wide open notworthy.gif . I think i just get 70-300mm VR first to quench my thirst for 70-200 F/2.8 doh.gif
