I cringed every time someone's trying hard to defend this shambolic season.

Ok la its not too bad. The cinematography and symbolisms were pretty good. Shortcoming is that plot felt rushed and ended pretty abruptly. Guess a lot of people arent too happy with the way it ended for cersei. Friends were saying she should be resurrected to be tortured then murdered she had it easy

Hahaha...Good one. Someone actually asked me to comment on the last episode.
Read through and I've also added some thoughts at the end.

All in all, I loved how it ended for most characters except Dany. I felt her death/murder could have been dealt with differently, more emotionally, more expressively. It was just like hey, talk, kiss, knife in and dead. Also, in today's society, Jon would be walking free. We actually don't have a witness to say Jon killed Dany. Perhaps after some heated argument, Dany could have flown off with Drogon for ever and ever not to be seen again. ??? Remember Season 5, when she disappeared? There's a story going around which I like. Drogon found a Red Priest or Priestess who brings Dany back to life and she returns to Westeros with a vengeance.

All through the last 7-8 seasons, I have been rooting for a few people in particular. I'm glad they survived and got some good endings. Bronn, because he makes smart remarks every time he hits the screen and he is smart when he fights. Sam, just because he is Sam. Davos, because he always appears level headed whenever emotions take control of the rest, he is always like..."Friends, friends,..." Or how he won over Lady Lyanna Mormont in Season 6. It's their character traits that attract me.

Most of all, the person I've rooted for from the beginning was Ned Stark. He may have lost his head in Season 1, Episode 9 but I followed the family and their trials and I'm sure a lot of people rooted for Arya and Sansa. As for Bran, I was just curious how his arc would turn out and hey, he became King of the Six Kingdoms. So this is the part where I'm really happy for how it ended for them.....Imagine how proud Ned Stark would be of his children (i"m not sarcastic)....Look at them...

Sansa - Lady of Winterfell, QUEEN IN THE NORTH
Bran the Broken - KING OF THE SIX KINGDOMS
Jon Snow - Knight's Watch, and probably will end up KING BEYOND THE WALL or at least the leader of the Wildlings. Ser Alliser got it right..
Arya Stark - QUEEN OF HER OWN DESTINY....That's not me.

So while there were critics and supporters for this season, DB and David provided appropriate closure for the characters and their story arcs. GRRM may not follow this ending, might create a more imaginative one. But for that, we will have to wait. For now, the show is ended and so is this longish article.

While all the soyboys crying and whining, GRRM released his blogpost about the show finale. Read between the lines of his statement. He simply said you decide on your own term. Planning 3,000++ pages of manuscript for his next two books. That easily 5 or more seasons worth of material.

poor Conleth Hill (Varys), you can see his reaction (what the fuck I've just read? fuck it!) when he just found out about his character's dead scene
compared to the reaction of other characters, his is more of a major disappointment

I think almost everyone agrees that his character could have a better development and a better death in this final season

It's Daemon Targaryen, the rogue prince. He is kinda Jamie and Tyrion roll into one. A fighter like Jamie with the smart of Tyrion. He ride a badass dragon. He is a villain and protagonist at the same time. One of his nemesis is a Cersei 2.0.
