Ahem. tongue.gif

The two bottom-right drives are 2TB each; the rest are 1.5TBs except for 1 640GB. All the drives in the module are 1.5TB drives. I've got 2 more 1.5TB and lesser drives in another rig. tongue.gif

Get a board with 8 sata ports and add in a 2-port pcie card, and voila! biggrin.gif

There are boards with 10 sata ports even, but expensive lah.

I do a lot of downloading backups and copying data transfers, so I guess you can call it a server? tongue.gif

@farkinid: no lah, I did try one out, but I worry about the power brick.

ruifung: I tried a linksys NAS200, bloody lousy file transfer @ <5MB/sec. Runs hot too. How's the 323?

You could get a cheap atom PC for dc++. smile.gif
