yup will definitely be useful -
On another note, has nayone else noticed/had difficulty getting file lists from other users? I only occasionally succeed with that - even searches don't turn items up sometimes

You don't' have to click on get IP every time, but sometimes if your modem restarts or you're assigned a new IP, you'll notice you'll get kicked from the hub due to an incorrect IP, at that point just go and update it.

Added on July 23, 2010, 10:36 amIt's great to see a few people steadily on there smile.gif
Hope more people read this and join up! It's not difficult at all to setup and use.

d3x, make sure you open ports in your router for Dc++ and also make sure that those ports are not blocked in your windows firewall.

Evoriber - must make sure of a few things
1) Port mapping is done/ port forwarding in the router
2) Any firewall e.g. windows firewall has port opened for the program

bro d3x - 10 mbps line is *only* 50 more what :-D hehehehe
Personally I was deciding between 5 and 10, then decided to take 10 cos it's more value for the amnt you pay.

More speed is better - too many slots also no use.

As with using torrents etc - if people are downloading form you, or you are downloading form others, you'll have reduced bandwidth. Simple maths really :-) For me, normal surfing is ok while I'm actively downing or upping something, but if I go online to game with my ps3, i tend to close all torrents and dc++ etc.
