With the new price slash plan... some people might go and get the phone + plan then sell off the iphone and ridiculous price... then go ahead and get iphone 4 and use the existing plan... sounds like a good plan, someone pls enlighten me if you think i'm having a day dreams, lol.

p/s: using the current iphone plan on other phone is possible and yes i'm 100% sure of it.

DG is smart, of course they wont want to do that for existing customers, they dont have to since you have already signed a contract to pay the iDigi88 plan irregardless of future offers, if they do that they sure rugi no point.

the new plan is definately attractive but i think this is their 1st wave to encounter with the launch of iPhone 4g from Maxis. Most ppl *including me actually* will attraceted by the plan, plus the assumption that Maxis will definately launch 4g with price higher than the current package, therefore its a wise choice to take this in order to get an iPhone in the lowest price at this moment. Digi will be successfully blocked the new or existing users from taking Maxis iPhone for the 1st wave and since after most ppl had signed up Digi within 2 months time do u think they will spend again to get another package *when 4g launch eventho they sell the phone with 2 plans on their hand?(iPhone 4g for sure come with package to get the phone with lower price isnt it?)

Guys.. Just called Digi Hotline. The RM1390 is the saving cost not the phone price. The phone price is RM2062 for 3Gs 16G.

i don get what u mean?

the price state at the second column after the plan details should be the price of the phone?

then wat should the "Free" under 160*new plan iPhone 3G 16G stand for?

the phone price is RM2062 for 3GS 16GB just called them. so RM2,062 pay with cash and only pay bil RM60 per-month for 2 years.

I was shocked when I saw the Iphone price. After check thier payment option, it shows that iphone still cost RM 2062 for 3Gs 16G. The real savingyou can see is thier monthly charges and no advance payment. I just signed up maxis Value 1 package and got the iphone for RM1590. i thought if the iphone for RM90 package is just RM 890, then I rugi alot.

Yea but i am curious whether would they change it back to RM88 after the 24 months. And in regards to the "Free Internet", does this mean even if we use the 1GB data and overquota, they still wont charge a cent? Cause if thats true, the RM60 package is interesting. More interesting than the DiGi50 cause with RM10 extra, we get "Free Internet".
