well then, u r in which market? any recommendation wat to buy & which r the other 3 analyst to use for ur parameter trading momentum direction?

In SGX and US Mkts (NYSE & Nasdaq).

Dependable Analysts in SGX : choose from here : http://www.remisiers.org/index.php?option=...&id=6&Itemid=16

Analysts in US Mkts : many of them, can easily come across their write-ups everywhere as we surf around, or as we go into the discount brokerages' sites.

Trading Momentum - don't need analysts, just pull-up Google Finance or Yahoo Finance for the country being observed, put in the stock code you are interested in, look at their charts and observe the vertical barcharts at the bottom of the graph. That's the trading momentum that I use.

I don't know why you are putting such remarks at the beginning of your posts, but, yes, you are right, some people are highly sensitive, especially when they are keen to help and people who are asking for opinions and at the same time, are putting remarks like what you are doing.

And then laugh it out : lol.

No, I think I will stop inputting here after seeing all these unnecessary posts. I am amazed with such behaviours, I would prefer to contribute in other threads rather than here.

End of input and debates from myself here ! cool2.gif

I just got my stock on C @ $4.15 and BAC @ $11.35 on Wed. Hope to keep it for few years and see the return. I'm not the speculator but more on investor point of view.

No problem. Already profited, just not that much. Won't be chasing this. Now, got to wait for pull back.
The bullish momentum for stocks still kinda high.

Will be selling my remaining TCK if we hit $50. biggrin.gif

Right On Bro! rclxms.gif

Uncle Ben IS the world biggest Shark. With a stroke a pen, he wrote the $600b cheque and direct
Fed to printing money. World market equities have no choice but to go up.

But, be careful with him. Watch his cards carefully. He can pull money out as fast he can push money out. nod.gif

Indeed he is. The first thing what Goldman did right after the announcement is to agree with him. Fcuk, look at GS Price. I bought at 155, cut loss at 145. Then it bounced to 170 now, up 15 since end of October. I failed to link GS to Uncle Ben..Duh!

C losing steam. BAC is performing better. Bought BAC 500 units only, although I do have cash for upcoming, which is preserved for volatile days as follows :

Unemployment Claims on WED 930pm KL Time
Prelim UoM Consumer Sentiment FRI 1055 KL Time

Closing update:
Dow 11406.84 -37.24 -0.33%
Nasdaq 2580.05 +1.07 +0.04%
S&P500 1223.25 -2.6 -0.28%

I've sold my remaining 300 shrs of TCK @ 50.25. Biggest profits for me this year. biggrin.gif
TCK may continue go higher with the QE2 but I'm happy that it has met my price target, so I'm taking my profits.
From here, I'll scalp and trade by hit and run. I don't like buying into 52 weeks high.

gmcr went to moon cool2.gif note to self: do not get 'put options' on strong stock in a bull run & closing apol position
won't discuss much on stocks above $10 anymore, but here is a last on watchlist for stock above $10

EMC Corp. (EMC) a huge winner in the 1990s, saw its market value cut by two-thirds from its late 2007 peak of 25.47 to a low of 8.25 in November of 2008. Since then, the data storage titan has fought its way back to 16% off that peak. On a weekly chart, one can see the stock gaining support at its 40-week moving average during the market’s declines in May, late June to early July, and August. The stock has traded tightly in recent weeks and is perhaps forming a flat base with a potential buy point of 21.93. EMC has notched double-digit EPS growth of 21% to 62% for five straight quarters. Sales growth of 20% to 24% for the past three quarters is still impressive growth for a large, mature company like EMC

Thanks Sifu. Most of us are small time salary worker, so can buy 100-500 units of penny stocks (in NYSE penny = Below USD5!)

I unit of LVS now is USD51, used to be USD17

People were scare of buying LVS when it was under $10 but now, we got them chasing it above $50. biggrin.gif
Funny isn't it?

LVS could potentially go back up to its peak at 120 if the economy recovers in US and businesses return to Las Vegas.
Right now, LVS earnings are mostly come from Macau and Singapore. Macau has such an amazing revenue last quarter, it basically helps LVS to lift off from the red ink since 2008.

yes, rulez like what we used to learn is not longer suits current market, only when economy is good and booming, market is really good. I happened to bumped into an archive posting of an American forum, where they love RIMM, bought 5,000 shares and trade it contra daily and actually earning big bucks.
That is when it is end of 2006. Buy any counter, close your eyes and boom, magic. Just like the recent LVS fairy tale.

LPH was recommended by myself but I failed to buy it, instead bought S. Oh well, that turned out to be an ugly truth.

For profits, it all depends on when you buy or sell. One really need to buy and trade, not buy
and hold to make money. If you don't trade that much, just have to look at month to month or quarter to quarter basis.

IMO, now may not be the cheap to buy 'coz they're at the 52 weeks high level.

I'm expecting to see a 3% to 5% pull back but just don't know when. Need for the Dow/SPX to be in negative territory for 3 days in a row or -3 digits drop in Dow for sellers to be in charge.

Now, there seems to be not enough negative news to scare the bulls. Even Irish banks issues are not scary enough versus QE2. We need China to issue an interest rate hike now or Uncle Ben to stop pushing the money printing machine button.
