Old man where can run, need to bring tongkat . Maybe use tongkat  whack all those in front, then can get 1st in line  biggrin.gif

Btw, What's the expected price of the screwless 2 Bay USB 3.0 Toaster you mentioned before in this forum? If join 2 units together can they become one single 4 Bay unit, which the POHD can recognise all 4 bays through 1 USB connection?

Not this model, friend. As 2-bay toaster, also offer Rm9.00 for 1st unit at Fair drool.gif . Normal price is RM219.00. So, you need to bring 2 tongkat liao.

Was wondering if POHD DVR can receive any digital test broadcast (RTM, TV3...whatever) can ah? If yes, hows the picture quality? I'm really fed up with antenna linked terrestial TV reception. Its actually quite terrible.

Its not clear or mandated that current TV's have digital tuner, so I'm guessing most local TV don't have DVB tuner (although specs may specify it but local build may differ). I know my TV doesn't have it or its not invoked. Its all a mystery to me now. Perhaps the damn garmen will make people pay for extra set top box to receive programs.
So, I'm wondering if this POHD DVR (with its DVB tuner) may fill the gap in future?
I'm also tired of having one too many boxes, adapters, cables, each for some purpose to the TV...so much damn clutter already. DVD Player, BlurRay player, POHD, POHD DVR, HT amp, multiple larpar, Astro decoder?...how may more ah???

Not in this country, unless distributor repackage them in some form of promo. I think it boils down to cost, but ironically, any owner ultimately will buy a HDD (internal or external) in due course. Otherwise how to store large amount of media?

Depending on how anyone would want to expand towards ultimate.
Optional add-ons that's going to cost:
1) HDD 1GB RM170?
2) Wifi adapter (for IMS) RM100 over?
3) External 1GB HDD RM200+
4) External DVD rom or BlueRay (to play DVD's?)
5) Audiophile rated HDMI cables?
6) Audiophile rated Audio Interconnects or component cable?
7) LCD or LED TV?... pre-condition for pleasurable veiwing and HDMI facility, no way its pleasurable on an old CRT 4:3 TV.
8) Maybe some thumbdrives?
Have I left out anything? Go figure the arithmetic. biggrin.gif

Me and my 3 other friends each of us bought a Playon!HD (AC-Ryan 73100) somewhere around MAY 2010 this year.

Everything we working perfectly for the past 6 months or so until last 2 weeks.

All the 4 units btpd stopped working. The BT kept crashing with the error message 'BT Client not running' which was working fine all the time.

The btpd is not working at 2388, 3582, 4368 firmwares

It's very weird for such thing to happen. felt like there is some kind of time bomb in it to kill the BT from running.

Too make things worst, seems like i'm not the only one having this problem, its more like the entire world!!

Now my Playon!HD (AC-Ryan 73100) just a good player i would say. But Not worth for the money you are going to pay for it since its BT is dead.

AC-Ryan seems aware of this problem, i just hope they can fix the problem as soon as possible.

I've ripped quite a lot of my collection of ori DVD's to ISO format and now play these from the external HDD. I've observed that playing direct from disc from any DVD player surely is flawless performance. But on AC Ryan, I think there's issue with the sound. There's time lag and isn't instant when it starts. Sometimes a couple of seconds into the intro, only then the sound appears. Decoder? Buffer lag? External HDD lag? I'm only wondering. blink.gif

Hi Friends, Toaster 2-bay will be available within 2 weeks. It is USB3.0 and the most wonderful feature is: it is screwless. Here is some pictures

*
want to ask some noob questions about this toaster 2-bay, if I have 1 hdd with many files and another new hdd, can I use this toaster 2-bay to back up my files from the 1st hdd to the 2nd hdd ? if the answer is yes then what is the speed like ? and can we use 2 hdd with different brands and/or different capacity ?

hi box builder, can we get the toaster 2-bay from this weekend's DLE ? any special price (not talking about the 1st unit at $9) during DLE ? and what is your booth number ?

I didn't realized you guys accoutered so much problem. So far thank god mine is smooth going. Most of my .mkv is working just fine. Thank god. My only question is, what will happen if I don't update my firmware?

Seems like to trouble some for me to update it lol (Maybe Lazy)

They're NOT really problems for me, just minor irritations, always with hope that it'll be corrected or improved someday soon. This kind of thingy ain't perfect and we always seem to think its so. brows.gif
I flashed in the latest EU version todate and playing mostly ISO rips from my own DVD collection.

New firmware released...Release Candidate (RC) r4824 for PlayON!HD
Me continue to use EU version. I sensed better compatibility with mkv files. Me had one mkv file and previously had some error dialog but will play. Now seems a-OK.

This is NOT with highly anticipated GUI 2.0 interface. This is a firmware with bug fixes.
