This thread is almost dead.  But I see Ex-POHD user keeping this thread alive smile.gif

AC Ryan development team is no longer capable of any good working FW. It appears they can't even fix simple problems found in previous official FW released about a month ago (A real lemon release).

Perhaps all their previous staff have left and they are now using their 'office boy' to do the programming  biggrin.gif

Not sure about AcRYan but another "Brand" do have this function in which u can create and add your own preferred feeds in the existing channel.

Try browsing thru AcRyan forum and look for community project. if not then u need to create your own PHP scripting

Thanks for replying my queries, Soul

The most important of buying good network media player is to ensure its continuous development of firmware and release new features to its owner, otherwise it will go to graveyard soon.

Soul, can you pm me please your recommended realtek player (need to support rmvb format) and good firmware support.

Currently I am a Slim Device (now known as Logitech) Squeezebox owner (Audio network media player), they are still working great in its firmware, now 7.5.2 , though it was now taken over by Logitech, I really appreciate former Slim Devices staff and volunteer working really hard to provide now only its firmware and 3rd party plug-in as feature to support firmware, some even develop iPhone/iPod apps that I can use my iPod as remote control to browse my song list, album, genres, years, etc.

To cut it short, I am looking for a good hardware and good software support.

Thanks in advance.

OIC, thanks boxbuilder. two more questions :

1) what is the warranty period ? 1 year or longer ? just bought it last saturday from digital mall.
2) when I purchased the POHD, there is no warranty card in the box but the authorised retailer said I can claim warranty using their sales invoice. is this correct ?

1. POHD and mini 2 years warranty
2. Don't worry, as long as you bought from Box Builder's resellers, u even can come to our office directly to claim the warranty. We will trace by serial No. Just look at the unit, if got BoxBuilder warranty sticker, it is from us ya.

Hi, I have bought the Robin Hood Blu-ray disc and I copied whole disc onto the HDD, when playing back, I found one problem that the AC Ryan Play on HD unable to playback this movie properly because this movie is recorded in multi-title/chapter format, what can I do to watch properly this movie on AC Ryan? I have found some software, but need to buy to merge whole movie into one m2ts file, and this software is quite expensive.

I used the DVD Fab to rip, now the isn't the protection, but the multi-chapter causing the Ac Ryan unable to continuosly playback the movie properly.
I have to click on the .m2ts file one by one to watch it. This is because the Ac Ryan unable to support the BD ISO, which you can't select to play certain chapter or play all!
