phew i solve my problem, no tone alert and vibration when receiving sms

here are the step

1. Install PC Suite

1.1 Export SMS as CSV file or u can drag and drop all sms in a folder

1.2 Export MMS as MMS file by drag and drop

1.3 Export Contact as CSV

2. Open Folder Using Explorer (Basicly copy and paste whatever folder that u want)

2.1 Copy and Paste Image Folder

2.2 Copy and Paste Music Folder

2.3 Copy and Paste Video Folder

3. Format my SD Card using Phone

4. Enter *#7370# to Hard Reset

5. Done everything and test sms yourself and receive tone and vibrate

6. Manually restore every backup that u done

7. Test smsing urself again

8. Yes i know phone setting is diffrent and application need to be install one by one, but hey atleast u manage to restore your contact,sms,mms and few more folder with all function running
p/s: sms can only be restore to My Folder, incase u want to restore to inbox, do it by selecting them via phone

bring my E72 to nokia care yesterday at 1U. Got lot dust in the screen.

Firmware  v52.005

The Nokia E72 got a small firmware update today. The new Nokia E72 firmware version v52.005 can be downloaded from NSU. Note that it may take some time before the new update it available in your country. Changelog after the break.
Changelog:

◦Changes in timezones
◦Adobe Reader updated to version 2.5.202
◦Default system start date changed (11/10/2010)
◦Clock time font changed (update after a previous firmware, v51, made it appear smaller)
◦Device Management fix
◦Keypad Autolock fix (autolock now restricted to homescreen)

i have the same problem..super annoying..

anyone use ovi map before? I saw there is 3d map something like that which allow you to see 3d building when you on the ovi map,izit true or not? and how to set that setting?thx

I believe that map version is 3.06 and is for latest phone like N8...E72 not supported..

but I saw e72 brochure, it shows the 3d ovi map thingy

hmm...then I'm not quite sure about it already but I'm using 3.03 still the best. Don't upgrade to 3.04 because there are some feature will be missing like the GPS signal bar and 3.04 got a lot of issue. One thing I like about the ovi maps is even not details as 6armin but the accuracy is much better than 6armin.
about the brochure, mind sharing the picture?

why u say 6armin? Garmin is Garmin. 3.04 has what issues on the E72?

v52 hw to overcome the no ringtone prob dun get it man

I can't change the ringtones at my E72, if i'm trying it, my phone tells me "opening" and nothing happens. It seems like the phone is working all the time, but it stays "opening" for hours...



Has anybody an idea to solve this problem??
but after i remove the memory card , it works again!!

and my firmware is : 051.018

anyone know how to fix it ???
